Do you suffer from ocd ?

I'm not too impressed with Oprah or Dr Oz. Besides that, I'll be tied up with kids all day. Won't have time for TV.

Oh darn it. Perhaps, you could record it on your VCR or DVD. Or, you could look up the website about it later. Sometimes, Oprah has some interesting subjects and other times were lousy ones. You know back and forth....

I really like Dr. Oz most of all, and even better than Oprah. He has some interesting subjects about many health issues.

I'll pass.

Oh man Cheri

I saw that movie Mommie Dearest, I wanted so bad to beat her up for abusing that poor little innocent girl, when I was watchin' it, it made me so angry deseparted to save that little girl, but I wasn't even born that time, it's soo sad, it made me cry also another movie called Sybil, oh gawd, that lady's mother is sick, eww eww, her mother did weird stuff to her when she was a little girl, gaggin, horrible and sad.

No, but I know a famous actress, Joan Crawford had the similar disorder, It has something to do with cleanliness. She was an abusive mother back then. Ever watched the movie "Mommie Dearest?" It's about Joan Crawford, and how she acts forward her daughter, Christine.

Joan Crawford did not suffer from OCD. She had a personality disorder. Likewise with Sybil's mother. Sybil herself suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder.

I have a question

Is anybody experience with OCD? I don't have OCD myself. I have a friend might have OCD because of her obsessive about herbalism and organicism. Her house is very dirty and smoker. She do have problem mood swing and voice abusive. I never hear of voice abusive. Because I can't hear. Is anyone hearing know and hear the voice abusive??

She refused to go doctor and psychologist. She don't believe in drug medicine. I can't force her to get a diagnose for her mental and personality problem. :( I am trying to help her. I don't know what to do.

Nobody answer my question. :( Please answer the question. I need your help!

I have ocd . What do you want to know about ?

Did you read my post? I am concern about my good friend have a mental disorder. I don't know what kind does she have. She refused go to doctor or see the psychologist to diagnose a mental disorder. :( She is very obsessive about organic and herbal and poetry writing.

There isn't much you can do for your friend. She must do it for herself. Just because you think her behavior is strange doesn't mean that she has a clinically diagnosable disorder.

That's right. You can't force someone to get help unless they want it.

As for the OP's thread, I used to have obsessive-compulsive thoughts and behaviors when I was a little younger than I am now. For example, I would repeatedly check to see if I locked the door or turned off the stove/TV/radio. I also had a tendency to scrub the kitchen counters over and over again, dust my furniture or vacuum the carpeting all while having constant thoughts that it wasn't clean enough or that I missed a spot and had to go back and do it all over again. This would occur as often as 5 times (or 10 times if I had alot of anxiety). Fortunately, this isn't a problem for me anymore which makes me think it may have been a very mild case of OCD, if it was OCD at all.

That certainly doesn't sound like OCD. But again, she may not have a diagnosable disorder at all.
