What are you thinking about Part VII

I am thinking about going to a batting cage and swinging a baseball bat, something I've not done for nearly 10 years.

I've just realized that my carpal tunnel syndrome and my tennis elbow would likely prevent me from swinging a bat. Oh well.

Oh, stop it! :mad:

Unless a doctor told you specifically, "Don't swing a bat," you can do it. Warm up and stretch before you take the swings. Start out easy, and work your up to harder swings. Take a warm shower after, and you should be fine.

edit to it. i dont blame her for saying that because others constantly brought up what went wrong with the body. :dunno2:

It was under my comment and thought you meant , but after I turned off my computer , I got what you meant. I been so tried lately and not thinking clearly , I knew where Reba was coming from , but we really do not know if he would be OK.
 
I really don't wanna go to work tonight! Need to make myself get up and get ready! Thank god I have Friday and Saturday nights off. Really hating this night shift job.

The students are special needs. I just learned that I will be teaching special needs kids with behavior problems in the Fall at my current job so no difference.

Hey Mark, I have had I think ten surgeries on my arm. I still go for it and try to do things. I seem to be in pain either way so why not have a little fun. Typing on my IPad causes me more pain then riding my bike etc. There are various wraps you can use for your elbow and wrist. I use a heat wrap when I get back home.

If you can't swing a bat, then get a glove and play catch.

That's why I stated, unless a DOCTOR said so. If a DOCTOR said don't swing a bat, then he shouldn't swing a bat. If he's not sure, he can ask a DOCTOR.

Judging from his past posts he doesn't mind going to the doctor.

What Reba said does make sense.. yes we don't know what degree his CTS and 'tennis elbow' is but light exercise I bet would help it- there are splints etc to help support the wrists, elbows & shoulders.
 
Virginia motorcycle inspection is asinine and entirely arbitrary. First place I tried to get my inspection done, I was told it wouldn't pass because it had clear lenses on the front signals that the previous owner put on it, so according to Virginia law, I have to have 4 amber lens turn signals or none at all, so I just removed the signals from my bike. Now I'm told from a nearby shop my windscreen on the bike (Which is small and I would never need to see through) that again the previous owner put on, is too dark.. Why can't I get this freaking thing inspected so I don't have to ride paranoid of getting a ticket for a stupid little meaningless sticker?

I did a wash tonight and had not put any money in the machine yet but when I put the lid down the last cycle started up. I was wondering if that was bad for the machine motor , being in a cycle with the lid up all day. We have new tenants here and they're bad news.

If the lid is up, the motor isn't running, so no harm.
