I read Sprint customer feedback... "So nothing will get done until next week for me it would seem, if I am lucky. My son went to the store on Friday, 9/21 when it opened, third in the store and first to buy, should have just tried my luck at the store purchase. Will never pre-order again."

Yeah, After 2-yrs contract due to expire. I won't pre-order again.

1. Scratches, That's what case cover or film cover for.

2. Lightning dock connector, I am Deaf and don't care about iPod :) But yes, I think Apple made bad move about that.

3. The phone's too light, Welcome to 2012 and I am sure most new Android will do same thing. It's silly and too light is do nothing with the problem but feels? okayy.

4. Screen issues and 5. Leaking light, They were not Apple's design fault. It's LG Display. iPhone 5 sold for 5 millions so I don't heard so much issue for that. Probably 1% of 5 millions. There is no such perfect. Not happy with it? Replace it. The warranty is your friend.

Yup, there are a lot of new Android powered phones are lighter than iPhone 5.

Google maps app isn't perfect either. I found few error location when my friend found wrong place and I found right place because I use foursquare. Then later, I compare both maps, both point at wrong pin during confuse with north/south on same name of address while both are same company. Sad sad.

I've got iPhone 3G and 4. I gotta say my iPhone 3G looks much newer than iPhone 4. The glass cracks so easily if I accidentally drop it and the home button doesn't work really well anymore. Can't wait to get 5 for Christmas!

You are not only the one. Few of my friends comfortable with 3GS and its better than 4.

I accidently dropped my iPhone 4 like 100 times due common mechanic. No crack yet. Thanks to otterbox.

I know! I wonder if Apple do that on purpose, to make the last phone more vulnerable than the older versions. I mean I drop 3G many times, yet there is not a single, I repeat not a single crack on it. Even without a case.

Maybe it's time for me to buy a otterbox since I'm prone to drop whatever is in my hands.
 
Just learned that Verizon's iPhone 5 is now out of stock and they will get more iPhone 5 on October 26th. I'll just pre-order it and I can wait 3 more weeks. :)

This carrier settings update resolves an issue in which, under certain circumstances, iPhone 5 may use Verizon cellular data while the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Follow these instructions to install the update.

1. Tap Settings > General > About.
2. Wait for the following alert to appear: (top right)
3. Tap OK to install the update.
4. Hold the Sleep/Wake button down until you see "slide to power off".
5. Slide to power off.
6. After the device powers off, hold the Sleep/Wake button to turn your phone back on.

I placed pre-order iPhone 5 with Verizon and my order will arrive on October 26. Okay... Dealing with Verizon was of of the most confusing I have ever deal with phone company. When I placed an order via online and they told me to fax them my two IDs (DL and SSN) which I have done. Next thing, they needed one more identification (specifically, Utility Bill) - argh, I went to the store today along with one of my utility bill, somehow the salesman pushed my order through without needed to see my utility bill. Then I asked about the deaf plan and hoping that he can change it there, but no. He said wait till the phone arrive and call the customer service. Okay... (crossing finger about no need to get doctor note).

This is going to be my last phone for a while. I already hopped three different phone companies within 7 years (AT&T with HTC Windows, BlackBerry; Sprint with HTC EVO; and now iPhone 5 with Verizon). I will have to break my contract with Sprint with 5 months remaining - I think I have to pay $100 for that. Oh, well.
 
Finally, I got a tracking number at 9:20 pm eastern coast time since I ordered on Sept 17...

God, I hate to be patience, stress for waiting period! grrr... Now, I heard new estimate is 3 to 4 weeks from old estimate was 2 to 3 weeks.
