as far as the news goes, the post is made because it was current events i suppose, that would kinda give it away

The responsible family members gets those kind of phone calls from their crazy relatives. They don't call the other crazy, irresponsible family members. I'm the responsible one in my family who gets those ctazy calls. I finally learned to say: "Hmm. What you going to do about that?"

The guy was in his own house and the cops did not listen to Mr Gates when he told them that ! I would had acted the same way if that happen to me! I was pulled over by cops in Boston because they got pissed off seeing a White woman (me) with a Black man in her car! I left my wallet at a friend house by mistake and told the cops where she lived. The cops busted into my friend house without knocking on her door and demanded to know what my friend knew about me going with ' N'! Boston cops are know for being racist! My friend told the cops to leave her house , they had no right in being there, my friend did nothing wrong! The cops got mad at my friend for standing up for her rights . My boyfriend asked by we were pulled over and a cop said " We did not like the looked of you and will do it again" And the cops did ! The cops also threaten to rape my friend in a back alley right in front of her small son because she was working with Dr. King peace movement! If anyone is belligerent it is the Boston cops!

That is true, but does it have any right for Steinhauer to tell the whole world how bad is President Obama because of his past abandoned family members. No member of the family anywhere are not perfect. Don't criticize just because he is black. The Black people have suffered enough to stand up for their rights, just as much as Native American people have suffered enough from any abusive blaming us for being a savage or have different color in our skins.

But Whatdoyousay has a good point about what happened to people like the Boston cops who have no respect just because their skins are different than the cops' white skin. The Boston cops are very abusive back then in the 1960.

You should be ashame of yourself for criticizing the President of the United State of America just because he has an uncle who was DUI. Then blaming on him for being an illegal immigrant and being so suspicious that President Obama is also illegal. That is not nice at all. It is very cruel and very rude. So back off from him. :mad:

Are you actually trying to play the race card with this? No one here has been able to explain how Obama's uncle (and aunt) have avoided being deported. No one has explained how Obama's uncle has been issued a social security number and drivers license. So no ... I will not back down from this - good luck with trying to convince people to "back down".

Second of all, do you really think one will try to have members of his own family deported?
Third of all, Obama is not trying to make federal immigration laws a moot point. You were just expressing your opinion, which many of us as well as Bebonang know involves the color of skin.

Let's revew: they were ordered to leave 19 years ago. Who was Obama back then? A nobody. The uncle had valid driver's license and valid social security for 19 years. Why would Obama back then have anything to do with their not getting deported? He had no power back then. And secondly, he's estranged from his own father, so why would he have anything to do with a half brother of his father? And why would he be keeping tabs on a relative he doesn't talk to for 19 years? If he ever had any involvement in this, and let's say he did have influence in their staying in america, they would be legal citizens already.

Of course the uncle demanded to call the White House - he's a man in the US illegally who was arrested on a DUI and now on the verge of being deported. Who is the one person who might be able to help him even if they don't speak to each other. And by the way, did he ever get to call the White House and did he get put through to Obama? No.

Your presumptions are rather baseless.
