Having perfect English....

I'm overeducated. I'm neither anal retentive enough nor obsessive/compulsive enough to demand perfect English. It is condesending and insulting to do so. Lighten up or you'll die early. Save your complusion for something more enjoyable, like collecting or computer games. :cool2:

because their English is so bad that they hired somebody to make them look smart and they got rich! clever!

Street Smart > Perfect English

I thought if there is bad English, more traffic by tell that their grammar sucks. Gold been hit! ~_-

Sorry if it came out like I am arrogant. I'm not telling anyone that they have to use ASL or good English. I'm just saying that I like to use good English. I would use ASL grammer myself if I wanted to, but I'm more comfortable using English. I'm not "married" to Deaf Community after all. Nothing wrong with using ASL or English for communicate or writing.

I too write English at above average. I scored well on GRE verbal.

so what's your story? I dunno anything about you.

No one is perfect including myself. I was trying to say that I like to use good English grammar.

Though I have good English skills, I'm also aware that Deaf don't like it when people brag about their English skills (hearing or d/Deaf) because many of them don't have good English skills.

While my English skills are above average by hearing standards, there are some Deaf and RL here on this forum whose English are better than mine. Your English won't pass muster by our resident grammarian; my English certainly didn't. :giggle:

Chocolate chip cookies for me, please. I get cookie for being good :). I can live without perfect English. Yes, I can!!!

I was about to put star sticker on your forehead, and discovered your misspells. I HAD TO tear this yellow star sticker in half, and put it on your forehead. :D
