Must've been the sound of the tabby flinging him/herself into the screen door. I'm guessing it may have been feral or an indoor/outdoor cat. It wasn't one of mine -- this was outside the door, not inside. I think he/she was trying to get into my house and the screen blocked the way. So I saw nothing but a grey tabby with huge eyes clinging off the screen door staring at me

Reminds me of the kitty posters. You should have gotten a pic. You could have made a fortune with that one!

I have two left feet! I did not inherited my parents dancing genes , they won a dance contest.

But the way youth dances nowadays...I won a dance trophy while I was pushing my way to the bar.

Pizza's here!! Come and get it. DS - your's if over here on this table and I included the lactose free cheese. Dogmom - if you get here, I do have a total veggie pizza with non-dairy cheese.

Save some for me, too!

They are just like zombies, they just keep walking and gnawing onto the flesh whenever the opportunity rises.

Okay. My doors are all now locked to keep the feral cats outside.

A ferel cat got stuck between the fence posts in my back yard and my dog kept clawing at the back door and comign to the living room and barking. I didnt know what was her problem so I asked her "What is wrong, Lily?" She ran to the back door with me folllowign so I let her outside and she barked at me like to tell me to come outside so I did. She went across the backyard to the far corner so I followed her and looked up. OOOOHHHHH a feral cat clawing at itself. My dog tried to jump up at it and it hissed and clawed at her so I told her to go inside. Called animal control. Oh my gosh, when they removed the cat, the part of the fence had cut deeply inside in its side that you could see the bones and everything. I couldnt watch it anymore and just went inside. They said that the cat would have to be put in sleep because it had the beginning signs of rabies as well. Awful.

Happened too fast! As soon as he saw me looking at him he detangled himself and ran off :(

(I say this with a sad face because of my love for kitties, but my SO is SOOOOOOOOO happy because he knows I would want to adopt him. He keeps telling me 5 is enough. I kind of disagree. :giggle: )

Well, he's always kidding-threatening to open the front door to let one "run away" so I made a rule. For every time a cat gets away, 2 new ones get to come in. That stopped the front-door-opening plan.

wow...5? My neighbor has just about the same number of cats. One of them enjoys coming over and sitting on my front porch. My poor dog is soooo afraid of that cat so she refuses to come out when the cat is on my porch. It is so funny to watch.

Smart girl! I kind of did the same thing with my 10 year old niece. She never wants to throw anything away, and has toys she hasn't even looked at for a couple of years. I told her every time she puts something new in her room, something old has to come out.:giggle:

Sorry about the cat. It was a good thing that the cat was stuck so it can't really hurt Lily.

Oh my gosh...the cat would have scratched the hell out of my dog. Luckily, the fence was so high up that my dog couldnt reach it. Rabies...

My youngest nephew has a long haired daschund and a HUGE tom cat. The dog runs to the door to be let in whenever Bob comes close to him! But then, he has a mama calico cat, and they just love each other! The cat sleeps curled up next to the dog.:P
