I means... I know the more you post, the more likely you will be a target, however holding an unpopular view also subject you to that as well.

Then you also have the people that enjoy making outrageous comments to get attention as well... not uncommon for people to do that on other forums.

no, jiro. asking what his background experience is not asking for proof. proof is something that one can provide to prove a claim or an assertion in a more tangible way. i didn't ask for proof.

Oh, I've been to the university. Many times.

Give it up, Jillio. Posts from Hell verified it. I don't forge acceptance letters. I certainly did a 2 hour oral thesis defense successfully to get my MS degree. I have my reasons for not accepting the offer. And I don't even regret my decision at all.

There have been at least 10 cohorts to complete the Ph.D. program at Maryland since you applied. I promise you, no one will remember a student that applied but never attended from 10 years ago. They have enough trouble keeping up with the ones who did attend.
