If you do not have inner health a problem such as a heart problem, kidneys, etc., then you would probably better off without the medicine - unless something really bothers you then get it back. I believe the lowest dose like 25 mcg would be a good way without increasing the dose in the future as long as you keep doing your exercise.
Without the thyroid medicine, then you still keep up your exercise no matter what. I mean after your blood test result comes out to be normal, then that is a good sign.
In short, no exercise, no walking, too many different excuses, then the person will have to take thyroid pills when he/she gets older. Thyroid pills make the person fat.
I have to accept mine because I had a 4th heart surgery (real bad one due a different infection from the hospital that I stayed on the bed longer than I expected). It is my first time to take my thyroid pills two years ago, and I probably think that I don't have a choice. My physical now is very good (no fat), except my heart condition. That's it.
