:jaw: *speechless*, Jiro and Reba.

It look like that the stories and TV interviews are spread out to Europe and other countries openly than in America... It could be that the stories about them in America is censor...? :hmm:

???? I have no idea what you just said. That doesn't answer why you used  for pictures of Gitmo Camp that Reba posted.

, don´t you read the story, someone told about Lynnie England in Reba´s link? I have no time to read Reba´s link over Lynnie England properly fully until today... Don´t you read the story at Reba´s link?

Relatives of 2 who died at Gitmo sue Pentagon
Families allege torture and brutal conditions led men to their suicides
People can file suit for any reason but that isn't the same as proof. We have to see what results from the investigation and the disposition of the case.

It's a tragic situation, and no prison is run perfectly by angelic beings. Prison work by its very nature can be dehumanizing, and those working in that environment must be closely monitored. But that doesn't mean we have to close down prison facilities. The people who break the rules must be punished, and procedures have to be constantly under review. But none of that means GITMO is a "torture camp."

whoop! I was referring to you using  about Gitmo Camp - post #164

what's the matter? Just because a few people complained doesn't mean it's being done on regular basis. For example - Prison employee sentenced to prison for having sex with inmate. Does this mean we have to shut down that prison and build a new prison?

um no? We do have that stories in here. We just have a different view from yours.

proof please?

I ask you the same as well... Why do you assume that they all are terrorists ?

No matter how many times we show you PROOF that there are many or a lot innocents in Gitmo, you still fail to use your brain. Why should we keep
posting the facts since 2004 when you just choose to ignore them because US Government say so?

I really have hard time to convince why the innocents should be treated as guilty terrorists, and that the guilty should be allowed to walk free after years with no charge, no trial, nothing???????????.

If US Government really beleive that they are terrorists then treat them equal as rapist, murder, etc... is take them to court then punish them to death or life sentence accord US law.´

It make no sense to me...

I will explain Reba´s post why I laugh at the article with photos, she posted later. Just let you know that I do not ignore her post but I really have no time to sit front of computer to make posts to AD... or read the whole thread here and other threads all the day... I have a lot to do in real life.

No, the stories aren't censored. We can read the same stories in our papers and magazines, and see them on TV. Also, the internet is wide open for anyone who wants to browse the news.

Just because I read the stories doesn't mean I have to believe every thing that's published or on the web.

I could ask you the same thing. Don't you read the stories by witnesses that deny torture is continuing? Don't you read the stories that describe GITMO's current conditions? Is Europe censoring the positive stories?

oh.... the "i have a life" card... I thought you're better than that.... apparently - you had time to post that reply.

and why do you assume that they're all innocent? Take a look at your Germany prisons and see how many of them are innocents. It happens. That's why Gitmo Camp is called a DETENTION CAMP. We detain them to interrogate them and to investigate before we can process them into system. Of course - it takes time. Iraq is not a very modern country so we have to do it old-fashioned way and that takes time.

because it's classified. sorry. USA may have made a special deal with terrorists in exchange of vital information. that's classified as well. We do it all the time with criminals in USA as well.

If US Government really beleive that they are terrorists then treat them equal as rapist, murder, etc... is take them to court then punish them to death or life sentence accord US law.´

It make no sense to me...
rapist? murder? nope. our Criminal Law does not cover terrorist. We have separate law for that. They are dealt at FISA court and it's classified.

The US has freed about half the prisoners, so apparently they are freeing "the innocents."

During war, what do you suggest the military do with people who attack or threaten them?

1. Kill them on the spot.

2. Let them leave so they can try again tomorrow.

3. Take them prisoner.

Yes, I laugh because I thought you know that take the pictures and films are restriction and censorship rules in Military bases since the Abu Ghraib scandal.

When the reporters are invite to visit Guantanamo, they are accompanied by a military escort and they are not allowed to speak and interview with detainees, and their photographs and films are view by military before go to the public.

P.S. It´s amazing to know that anyone beleive in material things and government´s side than human being´s experience in Guantanamo Bay.

liebling, i wasn't assuming it would work, rather it didnt, and if so, I stand by my post, if they are that sick to kill and torture, they dont deserve a place in the society they are condeming, so why should we pay for them to be kept in it, its nothing but a waste of taxpayers money.

"*'check thick black bond* That´s what I posted with link at other thread.

and it's amazing that anyone would believe in human being's experience because they're infamously known to exaggerate or lie. it's as bad as reading tabloid newspaper.

The link, you posted is nothing do with torture issues here and also nothing to compare as well. Anyway, a woman violated the rules for having sex with prisoner but sent to prison? It seems a little ridiculous... She is suppose to pay the penalty fine out of her pocket instead of rely on taxpayers...

um no? We do have that stories in here. We just have a different view from yours.

Not really, If you know anything then you would not ask me for "proof" don´t you?

I guess you don't understand the art of juxtaposition. :|

?????? what are you talking about? I'm referring to your statement that you assumed America censored the stories that are available in Europe. And yes I ask for proof because the proof you found is unsubstantiated, misleading, and unverifiable.

Yes, I laugh because I thought you know that take the pictures and films are restriction and censorship rules in Military bases since the Abu Ghraib scandal.
I know a lot more about military restrictions on photography than you can imagine. I find it humorous that you would even make such a statement.

Are you denying the validity of the pictures and articles that I've posted?

Did you know that the military censored pictures and films during WWII? Does that mean that the photos and films that were released weren't valid?

What about the "human being's experience" of the witnesses who report on the positive things at GITMO?

Why are you so willing to believe everything negative about GITMO but nothing positive? How do you know all the negative reports are true?
