Wow! This banned thread grew so fast. I guess everyone loves the idea of people being banned!

How do you get banned anyways? Like personal attacks? What if you are naturally a snarky biatch?

Personal attacks, derogatory comments, racial comments, etc, etc.

Sometimes stubborness can get one banned as well!

A character trait that Jillio is famous for! :laugh2:

Now you're banned for PMing Byrdie, that is called "back stabbing".

You're now banned for acting like a moderator, Authentic. :p

:laugh2: Very funny...

One warning and one banned from other moderator then few minutes later Alex unbanned me on that year of 2008. :aw:

So far since November 2006, I have no warning and no bans yet, but some of my posts got deleted for the way I gave to the hearing people for not understanding our experiences as Deaf people. Hearing people just don't understand us and that made me piss off. You are right that we need to try to take better control of ourselves to not fight or get all rile up about what different people thinks. I hope I don't get ban as I love AllDeaf. I feel like belonging right here with you, Deafies. But if we want to speak up and give a piece of our minds to say that they are wrong or insulting words to us. Then I guess I will get ban if that happen. Oh, well. :hmm: <hmm>

I've been banned 3 times, and warned several times. I can't remember how many. I don't want to be a moderator at this website, so I truly don't care that I have been banned in the past.

says you, aghori. i happen to have an extremely busy life but fyi, the weather here has been too bitterly cold to go anywhere. perhaps you ought to think about the things you say before making inaccurate judgements about people you don't know. :cool2:

I can vouch for Hear Again. I used to live in Milwaukee for many years from the age of 4 until I was 21, and it can get very extremely cold that no one would want to go outside at all. Going outside is like getting slapped in the face, literally. So, I would not blame Hear Again for not wanting to leave her apartment in this kind of weather. I know I wouldn't. When I lived in Milwaukee, I refused to leave the house unless it was absolutely necessary, and I rarely left the house unless it was to go to work. I stocked up on food so I would not have to go shopping very much until it got warm enough again to go outside. Now I live in Texas. :D

lucia,

i'm telling you, i can't WAIT to move to arizona this summer. i've had it with the cold, long winters we have here. i've got cabin fever like crazy and haven't been out for my regular 2 hour walks or spending time with my friends in a couple of weeks.

if aghori is so curious about how i spend my time, i enjoy going out with friends, spending time with my family and boyfriend, volunteering at weekly activities to help elderly residents at the apartment complex where i live, volunteering at my local deafblind center, attending DBSA support group meetings, being a cochlear americas volunteer advocate, cooking, exchanging recipes, downhill skiing, shopping, reading, writing, learning more about adaptive computers, surfing message boards related to bipolar and schizophrenia to share my experiences and encourage others, bowling, going for 2 hour walks, listening to music, collecting out of print music, collecting vintage audio equipment, watching tv documentaries, going to church every week for 2 hour services and volunteering at church when needed.

if aghori considers THAT to be a boring existence, i'd love to know what his free time consists of. :cool2:

well, it looks like i'm safe and won't be banned for the comments i made in the hugs thread. :D
