It was a beautful Christmas....

This one is definately going to be treasured and remembered for a long time.

For starters--I have a new addition to the household--a dog! Pictures will be coming.

Secondly people have been asking about the Christmas gifts from Ally. The one was a picture taken at Halloween when I dressed up as Peter Pan and Ally as Tinkerbell. She wanted to dress up as Tinkerbell and wanted me to dress up as Peter Pan and when I refused--she wasn't going to get involved with Halloween. So--as a dad--I relented and dressed up as Peter Pan. It was the last picture of the two of us taken before her murder.

The second gift was a story book. She was the 'star' of the fairy tale with pictures of her in it.

The third gift was the hardest of all. It is a men's bracelet saying, "Ally--Daddy's Princess."

I been wearing it and haven't taken it off.

Don't think I will.

OH wow! I don't blame you for not taking it off.

Those are awesome gift and I'm glad you relented and went ahead and wore the costume. :)

Byrdie, I am glad you got those gift, and I would never take a bracelet like that off either!

I will be very interested to see pictures of your new dog.:)

I would make sure that bracelet never came off. That was a wonderful gift.

It is 6:51 AM here and I cannot sleep. Ive been up since 5:30. Im tempted to go downstairs and put on some coffee, but I may wake mum and my DD up.

Im thinking about going to the After-Christmas sales today and get stuff for dirt cheap. (Think $100 jeans for around $30). This is the best time to get winter stuff as all the stores are trying to get rid of their winter stock in preparation for their spring stuff. (I guarantee you Wal-Mart will have their swimwear out by February).

hi everyone,

i had a wonderful christmas eve and christmas. yesterday i didn't feel too well (i was nauseated the entire day). i don't know if it was something i ate or what, but i'm feeling much better today. i've also been able to get some good sleep over the past few days -- something i've been unable to do for awhile. i won't be going to any of the after christmas sales myself because i don't like crowds (they make me nervous and manic). if i do any shopping, it will be online.

Oh Byrdie - what a touching story - I truly believe that she reached out to you from where she is - I believe in such signs like this. HUGS

I don't like its sinful atmosphere. it reeks of greed, addiction, prostitution, etc. sorry but that's just me. :dunno:
