Touching. Would have been nice to know their names, as individuals that died for their country.

Does Delta do this for free or do they charge the miltary?

Btw wasnt able to watch video due to technical issue with my phone. Just read the short article.

TCS...not to derail your thread...I posted this info in another thread but I was shocked to find out that 22 Military Veterans commit suicide every day. That is one every 45 seconds. Blew me away, I had no clue it was that high. I have one nephew who has done many many tours, seen awful unthinkable things, has been shot three times and blown up and keeps going back for more. I am scared for him and his poor wife waiting at home by herself. How does a solider like that come home and live a normal life?

yep....

I'm very glad that my best friend got thru it by seeking a professional help. He had a very bad PTSD after his tours in Afghanistan and wherever (he can't tell me since it's classified). It got pretty bad that he was struggling with great difficulty in school and his life was going in downward spiral. He finally sought help and after a few months... his life was totally changed. now he's an Air Force shrink and his wife too. ironic, right?

but how do we make it better for our soldiers? the argument was said that the government should provide more trainings and conditioning as part of mental preparation for what they will encounter as well as removing stigma and fear about seeking a shrink.

my other friend is a Marine veteran and he's working for a major hospital in NYC to help veterans with PTSD or mental disorder.

Off topic, but reminds me of s movie called Taking Chance, based on a true story of a Marine Colonel escorting a deceased soldier's flag decorated coffin back home. Very emptional story for me.

My nephew is a sharp shooter for the Navy Seals. His buddy and spotter stay with each other at all times. Never can be apart. One day while they were out walking the streets a little kid started begging for candy. Before my nephew could say stop the little boy lifted his arms and blew the spotter and the little boy up, they both died. My nephew was seriously injured too. He flew with his friends grave and attended the funeral to be with his family. Now he is a professional solider. We can never know where he is or when he will return.

I have two other nephews who served in the Marines and both of them were shot too. I would hate to be a military wife or mother, I would worry like crazy.

I've watched that video over and over, just makes me cry. Thank you for sharing it TCS.
It would be nice if there were smaller flags to drape the dogs coffin too.
