You tell me, top 3 fads

Geez...

Talking about what we wear now?

Wish I can find a style of jean that is good for my body frame. Closest I can find are your $15 ones from Zellers. :\ That and BDU/cargo pants. :\

I love cargo pants, too! My son likes the Levi or Old Navy straight leg jeans that fit just below the waist. From your picture, I'd say the two of you are built about the same.

Thanks for the tip. ;) Now to see if they have a size 28. :hmm: They always seem to start 34 and up. :eek3:

No problem! You are slim! I'm pretty sure they go down to a 28. My son wears a 30-32.

;) Yeah. I know. I am just used to the "sorry, we don't have any in stock. Because no one buy them, we won't order them" half-arsed excuses.

Thank god those jeans from the '70s come in those sizes. :laugh2:

Look out America! You went up a few inches since 40 years ago! The proof are in the thrift stores!

I'm not a big fan of cargo pants.

I found the tunic on the Macy's website but it's not alvailabe anymore. :(

I empathize! I go through the same thing buying shoes. I wear a size 5, and always have to order them because few retailers keep them in stock.

Don't you just love thrift stores? You can really find some cool retro stuff in there.

Ooofph.. don't even talk to me about shoes. Well, I guess if you're in the same boat, it's okay. No, I don't have short or long feet-- just wide ones. Blah.

* thinks about moving to Italy... *

Not worth it. :P

As for the "What Not to Wear" comment, retro stuff works, only you have the body for them. I think I only know one person that actually look decent in zebra pants... everyone else I know of just look horrendous in them.

You remind me of one of my terps. She was told to lose weight to keep her feet from hurting so much. She is not extremely obese and her weight problem is less serious than mine. It turned out her feet were unusually wide which is why her shoes hurt.

jillio, I found another link to a tunic that's nearly indentical to mine except mine is white and black.. Here you go

I checked this link and I like it. Later, this morning, I am going to that store to buy this top, to see if they carry it or not. Hopefully, they have those!!! Thanks, Deafskeptic! :D

Velcro shoes!! For crying out loud!! Learn to tie your shoes!!!

YESSS I really hate velcro shoes, right kids need to learn how to tie shoes. They are not safe either!. The velcro become worn out, and those shoes went off from kids' feet. what such a waste of $$. One time, my kid insisted velcro shoes and we argued about it. I let him have it. maybe 3 weeks later, the velcro got covered with cats hair, some lints and so. He fell down while the velcro won't hold it enough and the shoe went off. after that my boy did learn his lesson. Every time we went to the store, he avoids the velcro shoes. :giggle:

i am not sure how i look in a skinny jeans. I am not too small but just small to medium. I always think if i wear skinny jeans that would makes my arse more bigger. that's not what i want! :giggle: maybe i will buy ONE and wait for my friends make comments. :Ohno:

:giggle:

My biggest problem is my pants!!! Every time, I try on new pants and I have noticed that my back of the pants are loosing because of my damn big fat ass... Also, it can show my ass, if I bend down. That turns me off!

At least people who have imaginary friends can talk to them wearing the blue tooth headsets without people thinking they are crazy cuz the headset makes them think that they are on a call with a friend or whatever lol. That's what House did in his show last season when he was hallucinating and seeing Amber who had already died and he bought a blue tooth headset so no one would question why he was talking to thin air. :laugh2:

Yea, I remember that one! That was hilarous!
