The top 3 fads that NEED to go away in 2009. :aw:

What did you wish to see any kind of fads that need to get out in 2009.

DO tell all! :fruit:

Mine's

1) fad diets (unnecessary for a shortcut losing weight)
2) guys with pants below their waist ( i hate that!)

3) boy it's tough to think of the third fad one. i ll get back to here. :giggle:

Got a couple...

Skin tight jeans, girls/women.....especially if the gal is a little or a lot overweight!

Men/boys....saggy/baggy pants, showing their underwear or their "cracks"...

Arm bands slowly fading away

So is "Pink" for the boys (bookbags, socks, etc.)

Skinny jeans have been around since the 1950s... has been on and off... it's associated with "rock'n'roll" since Elvis Presley wore it. Fad diets won't go away.

Pants that are worn around the bottom of one's butt is stupid, and should die.

Animal prints look fine on some people, but not as a trend-- urgh. I know they have been around decades, but... comon.

Cropped bottoms and capris; my mother likes to buy pants that end right above my ankles for me. I'm 5'1" and I'm very long waisted so this look isn't flattering on me at all.

Another fad I hate is low riding pants - who wants to see other people's bums? :P

Also neon colored anything needs to go away. :P

I want to see the Harlem pants to go away. It is making a comeback..no way!

The Cage shoes. I think they are ugly.

Bluetooth headsets...They remind me of Star Trek constantly.

now it is my number three!!
They look STUPID with the blue tooth headsets on, with no style at all :giggle:

At least people who have imaginary friends can talk to them wearing the blue tooth headsets without people thinking they are crazy cuz the headset makes them think that they are on a call with a friend or whatever lol. That's what House did in his show last season when he was hallucinating and seeing Amber who had already died and he bought a blue tooth headset so no one would question why he was talking to thin air. :laugh2:

Saggy pants would be the first that I would like to see go..

Velcro shoes!! For crying out loud!! Learn to tie your shoes!!!

The Temporary tattoos that kids wear, that are way too grown up for them!!

Ipods , Iphone, Twilight Movie, books etc..

Pants hanging off a guy's azz, and belly shirts that let the fat rolls hang out. Can't come up with a third one right now.:P

I'm wearing a pair of skinny jeans as we speak. And my shoes are another throwback to the '50's...Chuck Taylor converse sneakers!:giggle:

I can not complain too much..... My kids tell me I am old fashioned. That I need to get in style. :hmm:

1. Twilight movies, books or otherwise

2. Skinny jeans for guy or girls (sorry ladies but it's not attractive at all)

3. That "emo" haircut. for clarification see

The looks are similar to the long bangs to the comb-over approach. However, on this style of emo hairstyles, the back of the hair exposes a long tail and is dragged to one side of the head in most cases. For example, if the bangs are naturally or combed to the right side, then the tail would be cut and left on the left side of the head/ face.

Tongue studs (need I say more?)

Vera Bradley bags (let em go ladies cuz they are fugly)

Wearing flannel pajama pants in public (looks like an escapee from the hospital funny ward)

1. guys who have pants down below the waistline
2. Gas guzzling trucks with HUGE tires that are lifted way too high
3. too many touchscreen phones with no physical keyboards

I'm a big fan of skinny jeans and leggings and I'm wearing black leggings with white tank top layered under a black shirt with a gray paisley pattern atm. I've owned those chuck taylors converse shoes in the past...

Yeah, we are both smaller women, and those skinny jeans just seem to fit well. Ohhhh....paisley: another blast from the past. I love it! I really like the leggings, too. I'm glad to see they are coming back. They are so versatile; can be dressed up or dressed down.

Me too. I bought a bold paisley print tunic that's black and white to go with my leggings from Macy's.
