Just like any technicians that makes appointment NEVER arrives on time. For example, telephone, cable, electric, etc. I do not think they are any exception.

Yeah, it sucks when they do that.

Someone from Sorenson did that to me.

I was at Deaf Chat Coffee and bumped into this guy who worked for CSDVRS and was offering us the new Z-340 for free. He told me I needed my own VP before I could get a Z-340. He then referred me to another guy who worked for Sorenson to give me a VP-200.

A few days later, Sorenson came over for my roommate to install a VP-200. That guy also said that if I wanted my own VP-200, I would have to pay my internet company extra money per month for a second IP address. In that case, I changed my mind.

A week later, I came home and saw a note on my door saying that Sorenson came by to install a VP-200 for me. I was never informed in advance when he was coming. So, I e-mailed the guy and he said that he waited a long time for me. I told him that I didn't want to pay extra money per month for a VP-200 that I probably won't use much.

A week later, he came by when I wasn't home. I e-mailed him asking why he came by and he said he came to install the VP-200. I asked if he got my message and he said he did, but thought I would change my mind. I told him that unless he can think of a way for me to get a VP-200 without me having to pay anything, then I don't want one. He kept bugging me about it over and over. I guess he just wanted the $50 to prove that he came and installed a VP-200. (Yes, those guys get paid $50 for every VP-200 they install.) After going back and forth in e-mail, he accepted that I didn't want one.

Then a few days later, he asked if I wanted my name removed from the list so that he wouldn't bother me any more. Didn't I just tell him that a long time ago?

Then a week later, someone else from Sorenson kept bugging me about it. I guess everyone is desperate for that $50.

Did you reset the router? If you reset the router then it wont work with MVP which it might will lose all of the information in the router.

Oh, I forgot to add...

The CSDVRS guy who offered a Z-340 for free? He came by my apartment and said, "Oh, sorry... I can only give the Z-340 to the guy who owns the VP-200." After sitting with us and going through all the process for signing up for a Z-340... he then asks for $90.

WTF!? We asked why it was $90 and he said that was the cost. I told him that he told us it was free, he said... "Umm... sorry, but it's still $90."

So, my roommate said "Forget it!"

Sounds like they're try to ripoff their customers

well i have an ipod touch right next mvp, on mvp, wifi is weak while wifi on ipod touch is strong, wtf..

grr, release a better firmware!

and am curious what company make a wifi chipset in mvp?

Well, the installer came to my place about 45 minutes late because I knew he was busy working with other customer which he wasn't done so he let me know. Also, HOVRS had my address wrong which I already updated my current address so, I took a screenshot and emailed to him so he can show it to his boss about the address database need to be fixed or something.

Oh, that's stupid lame.. sound like panhandling or soliciting..

SVRS installer responsbility to call customer service on VP to get their boss prove installer are done with customer, the boss will pay to installer,, NOT ON THE CUSTOMERS. Because my apt bldg probihted "Solicit" on the property.

MVP installer saw warning message in the entery room "No Loitering and Solicit" that installer responsibility to call customer service to get their boss. MVP installer did very good job! he get pays from his boss.
