Here's a picture of a public toilet in Switzerland that's made entirely out of one-way glass. No one can see you in there, but when you are inside, it looks like you're sitting in a clear glass box.

My god, feel like people were looking at me thru this glass.. yikes.. Its so funny

I read about that a few months ago. This should be interesting!

Yes, you can see inside... when the light is opposite of the other. Normally, it's dark inside and light outside. Therefore, the inside can see outside without outside being able to see inside. However, if nightfall comes... you've got darkness outside. If you're ever inside with light, people will see you from outside.

I've experienced it for a whole year at RIT during the year of 2002 - 2003. It wasn't exactly a mirrored window, but regular windows with pull-down shades. Except, the shades were lighly see-thru. During the day, we can leave the lights off inside and see everything outside through the shades. We can change our clothes in private without worrying about people seeing us. However, during the night time... it's the other way around. Since it's dark outside, we need light inside to see. When we have the light on, we can't see outside... but people outside can see through our windows. That's why we do our changing in the handicapped bathroom at the end of the hallway.

RIT does not have a blinder or something to keep it shut.. weird.. at least you found a place to hide where it's a place for changing.

NO, I wouldn't use it. lol

Norwegians (and other Europeans?) also have something weird in the bathroom, too.. it's called bide. Ehmm, apparently, it looks like a sink... but you wash your privates and ass in it!

 It's called a bidet. It's not really weird, but helps you to feel clean, especially after a very sloppy job. TMI eh?

I think I would use it in daytime, but definitely not in nighttime. Sit down, take a shit and read newspaper, see people walking about. LOL

I got those via e-mail some weeks ago...there's no way in HELL will I ever try using it. :ugh:  I'd be way too self conscious and paranoid..thinking people can see me! :P
