Would you try any food made from worms?????

A Californian company called 'Worm Concern' is determined to put worm cuisine on everyone's lips. Enthusiasts claim that dried worms contain over 70 per cent protein, making them a very nutritious snack indeed.
To help spread the word, they've put together a newspaper featuring mouthwatering recipes for worm surprise cake, worm omelettes and worm pies.
(excerpt article from an Australian puzzle/story magazine, 'Take 5'.)

Hmmm
I want try that. Done thru expereince with Tequilla and a worm in the bottle. :naughty:

I do aware about high proteins in the worms. that why I want try!.

Same here, Lasza...I've done the worm in the Tequila drink plus a worm lolly (a lollipop with a worm in it....;) )

Hmm... sounds interesting. Protein... isn't that what helps increase breast mass?

Huh???????????? What made you think it would help increase breast mass?????? :P

I voted "Maybe." I was this close to eat an earthworm at my home. My husband told me not to because he's concern about me being sick with my pregnancy, when I tried to eat that worm. My girlfriend was rooting me up! Heh. I just put that clean worm on my tongue and closed my mouth, waiting for my husband's approval. Nope, he didn't approve it so I spit it out. Maybe I'll try it when I'm not pregnant, for my health-sake!

 Sure hope you didn't dry retch with the knowledge of a worm lying on your tongue. I think I'd dry retch initally, but I believe I'll swallow as quickly as possible to avoid vomiting, heh!

No, I didn't even dry retch with that. My guts are too strong for that. Heh.

Oh, how fortunate of you! :D I think it's pretty ironic for me because I don't get sick nor vomit when riding wild rollercoasters, but dry retch if I have a foreign object in my mouth. :P

I just watched Fear Factor earlier tonight and they had to eat bugs for Day 2. First, they had to shot baskets. For every shot they missed, they had to drink 8 ounces of this stuff. They blended a pitcher full of nightworms, redworms, strongworms, and madagascar beetles. The guy missed 3 shots and the woman missed all 4 shots. Ugh! :barf:

Ewwww....! I watched Fear Factor last week -- an eppy with twins competing each others, not too sure how long ago you all in the States have already seen that one. But anyway, there was one part that they had to eat this sort of egg (pickled)...one black lady was gagging and dry retching, trying not to while eating it up. :P Ergh...

I generally don’t bump 2 year old threads, but this one caught my attention. I’m curious as to how you found out about the Worm Concern, R3na3Blyth3. The company folded a few years ago, so the magazine article you were reading must be fairly old. The Worm Concern was located about a mile from my house, and was owned by the woman who introduced me to my wife.
