The thing that always amazed me about these televangelists; why don't they perform a miracle on the bank account? Why ask grandma for $20? Why do psychics need to sell their services, when they could go to a casino? Every bet would be a sure thing if they can see the future. I would take those odds every time.

Here is the thing ... Miracles are for real and do happen everyday. You never know it could be you, me or a Deaf friend you know that got healed by Jesus Christ.

None of that fake benny hinn or morris cerelluo stuff. You have to actually read the KJV Holy Bible for yourself and follow the instructions contained in the book of wisdom.

( Biblical verses related to prayer and fasting. Look up KJV Holy Bible, Mark 9:14-29 )

If your health will not permit you to fast, have your church initiate fasting meetings to gather around and pray. Not in front of an audience but in private like men's or women's bible study group. Do not ask people for money in tithles and just actually PRAY AND FAST.

IT COST NOTHING TO PRAY AND FAST. This is how it is done for real.

If it works for you, great but not everyone believes in that. We have our own ways of coping. Some of us dont need Jesus Christ and if fact, some of us dont believe in him.

What works for you, your business and I am happy for you. Pls do not try to apply it to a population.

For the believers, and non believers. It is why we have medical doctors.

You can call it an act of God or talent.

But, I do believe in miracles.

if anyone get heal 100%, it will be in heaven, in my opinion. yes, I have heard of people think we are deaf because we have "bad" souls compare to others. Heck, I Even heard this from recreation (sp? it is some kind of afterlife) people too, that I will spend my lifetime correcting my soul through one recreation to another until perfection??? And the reason that I'm deaf now because I deserve it or something.
Reincarnation.

But I'm still a baptist, and I believe we were made to be deaf for a good reason, not the bad. (one is how Christ perform is miracles, but for us to understand miracles, someone must be made deaf... so we were blessed this way... not cursed)
Correct. Deafness is not a punishment for sin.

There was this very, very religious guy that I worked with (and tried to avoid)....my friend and I were eating Lunch, and he came up to our table, looked at me and said...."God did not make you deaf....the devil did"!
Well, I was so upset, mad, "flustered" and whatever I could hardly speak! Left my lunch, went straight to my boss and informed him what the man had said....
My boss made "excuses" for him, saying he was "overly religious"!....And I told my boss to tell the man he had better leave me alone....so whatever transpired between my boss and the man, I never found out. But that man never, ever looked my way again!

That man should have been fired for preaching his religous beliefs in the workplace. One aide I had got fired for that because he kept preaching me and another aide. it made for a stressful work environment.

actually, he should not. because he did stop. And I am not sure lunchtime really count. Some people can even take smoking breaks during lunch hour.

Correct. Deafness is not a punishment for sin.

Glad you feel that way. Seen many churches and religious beliefs that think people who are different is a punishment and suffering to all of us.

Correct. Deafness is not a punishment for sin.

John 9:1-5 (King James Version)

1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Way to go Heath! I doubt this topics stays open much longer.:locked:

I give this thread 2 secs to be locked and moved to religion section.

Jesus never preached an all night sermon, but he prayed all night!

Luke 6:12 says concerning Jesus “He went out into a mountain to pray, and CONTINUED ALL NIGHT IN PRAYER to God.” Jesus disciples could not even watch and pray for “ONE HOUR” (Matthew 26:40,41). Are we guilty of the same negligence in prayer? The Bible says Jesus “continued”, he simply started praying and kept on praying as he felt necessary. Too many Believers center their life around the TV, not Jesus Christ.
