On my MacBookPro Safari sites, my user names and passwords don't fill in. They used to fill in. I checked my Safari preference settings, and they show my user name/password list for accepted sites are there, and allowed. Yet, they don't fill in when I go to the sites. Is there some other place I should be looking for a setting?

You may have to reset your cookies.

Some websites make changes that render previous cookies useless.

You try putting in the password again and see if it shows up next time?

Do you mean clear all cookies and passwords and start from scratch?

Example:

On my Windows PC, my user name and password fill in for AllDeaf, but it doesn't on my MacBook. On my MacBook, it fills in my user name and password for my college student account but it doesn't on my Windows PC.

When I enter a log in for a new site, and the pop up asks if I want to save the password, I click "yes" but the next time I log in, it's not there.

It could be the internet browser that's not reading the website properly.

Some people (or companies) use different coding that's not 100% compatible with different internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.

My company designed their website to be very compatible with Internet Explorer. If I use Firefox or Chrome, it doesn't work very well.

Can you go in your cookies folder and locate the cookie itself for that specific website and delete it from there instead of all cookies?

yep. some websites did not have proper coding that serves as a trigger for browsers to detect login window. or it could be other programs blocking it such as adwords or some security software.
