why litter sidewalk with ciggy butts?

It seems like people are so obsess with littering cigarette butts on the sidewalk for me to step on. Why I have to step on your ciggy butt
with my brand new shoes? I don't need your spit ciggy butt all over
my shoes.

Why throw cigarette butt near forest, when you know that animals
live there...?

Don't you know how many animals are killed in forest fire.

I think all Smokers are IGNORANT and EVIL. And also GROSS.

They don't care at all....

Especially at gas station, why throw ciggy near the gas pump?
You want the gas station to BLOW UP and killing innocent folks?

If you're going to smoke, why not do it neatly and safety, :rme:
 
I hate when people stop their cars at intersections, and dump out their ashtrays on the road. Ugh!
 
Here in Georgia, it is against the law to litter cigarette butts, but the law is not strictly enforced.

Maybe smokers wouldn't litter if the big three cars didn't do away with the ashtrays in the newer cars.
 
Littering is against the law here too, but like you said, it's hard to enforce.

Oh, I just love people who use their almost empty soda cans for their ciggy butts. That's even more lovely when then dump that mix on the road. :lol:

But that's better than the vehicles with brown streaks down the sides of the driver's door. I think you know what I mean.

Real Facts is when people throws their cigarette butts on the ground even on the grass or on dirt is puttin' the chemicals in the ground causing our drinking water to become polluted, my parents can't even drinks their water from their well anymore, because it doesn't tastes right anymore, whatever people puts on the ground like oils, anitifreeze and toxins it stayed in the ground it's hard to clean it out and its spreading everywhere and what's next ?

I don't even like it when people spits on ground, it is disgusting sickening gross, it can spreads germs, that's why we take our shoes off at the door when we come in the house, ever wonders what your baby could pick up from walking on hands on the floor of the house when someone don't take their shoes off, it's nasty and I was shocked to see on TV when a woman and her baby in the room talking to a doctor and she had her baby crawling on the floor where many people walks all over the floor with their shoes on, where's their head, I would NEVER let my child touches anything or crawls on the floor people walks on in the doctor's office or anywhere peroidly, fears of diseases spreading to another...

One time I was goin' to the store and somehow stepped on somebody's gum on the ground, it ruined my sandel, had to get rid of it, grrrrr stupid people also I saw a big puke in the parkin' lots and don't people have manners anymore to know where the garbage is or a bag in hand just in case...Oh people pee in corners or poops that should be buried....Grrrrr!!!

I used to live in Las Vegas, Oh My GAWD, garbages littered everywhere you walks on or drive by, it's soooo disgustingggggg, dreama right about broken glass, it's horrible.

Reba is right about people dumping their ashtry out of their car window, I saw that at my apartment parking lot I was like Ewww this is disgusting,...I remember vacationing in West Virginia, they don't allows cigarettes butt dumping, no litters of butts allows in West Virginia and wish Michigan have a laws against butts littering too.

Last thing this disturbed me the most when I was inside the grocery store shopping, this kid sitting in a shopping cart was sucking on a cart handle, Ewwwwwwwwwwww this is so gross, parents don't care!!!

I find broken glass the worst as Jilli's paw has been cut on broken glass :pissed:

Lol, Reba! Pepe, too bad you wasted a perfectly good pair of sandals just because of a wad of gum got stuck to the bottom; all you needed to do was sop the gum with a paper towel soaked in a little paint thinner and presto!

another way would have been to put the sandal in the freezer for a few hours but "eeewwwwww", right? Lol!
 
my hometown have serious against laws!

mostly people who been smoking and ingores the astrays and butt on the sidewalks they wont listen!

im been smoking for 6 years and im quit that smoking and free! but my mom forces me smoking because my mom have asthma i respect my mom but i can wait for years get smoke again because i had lung surgery at ages 12 years old but my lung wont hurt at me but im been smoking and i never miss the astrays and sometimes miss astrays im put cigrattes throw on butts by the sidewalks but i pick that after where im butt that smoking that so simple!
 
My husband does that and I get so pissed at him. He is not allowed to smoke around me anymore so he smokes at his job. I wouldnt be surprised if he still throws the butts on the ground. I asked him why do that and he said that was how he grew up. No excuse anymore. Oh boy...
 
Here in Rochester, it's a $500 fine for littering with a cigarette butt.
 
yeah my aunt's next door neighbor who is a heavy smoker, he can't
smoke inside his house because his wife says no. So he smokes outside...
And his front yard looks like ashtray. Ewwwwwww.
 
Well there is LOT of littering than just the cigarette butts. You know which is the WORST ever cause pollution, damange, everything, and the main reason why USA was the second world pollution? THE CARS!

I am so happy that I quit driving and sold the car, good bye to my car. Plus I am a smoker myself, and I usually smash my cigarette and put in my own little plastic bag, and throw it in the garbage can when I get back to home.

I care about the enviroments as always! Not all smokers are causing the pollution, even the cigarettes smoking are very low cause the pollution compare to the nuclear power, cars, train, airplanes, rockets, boats, ships, etc. I am not surprised that some people still whiny on the little cigarette butt on the ground.

Also my opinion, the gums are the worst than the cigarette butts! They look so yuck, they even sticks on people's shoes if they step on the gums! How rude.
 
Reba, yeah I know what you mean. :giggle: :)

Shel90, maybe you could look into getting your husband a cup holder ashtray that will put out the odors right away. You can find them at auto stores (AutoZone and the likes), Wal-Mart, one dollar stores, etc. They are inexpensive. :)

The worst of all, some dope teenagers put their gums under the table or school desk!!! eeek!
