Why do they make me fingerspell?

In my 35 years of my life, no one has taught me or figured the sign for the word "turbo". Sometimes, I wonder if sign for "turbo" was never invented for my purpose. See, if the sign "turbo" was invented, then I would be using it a lot more in sentences and when I talk to people. Those ASL Gods must hate the word "turbo".
 
You are hereby delegated to invent the sign for your favorite word. :giggle:
 
well wouldn't signing fast....in a super fast way suggest Turbo? lol

Actually how would you even be in a position to use that word lol.. :) unless you're in a discussion about cars with fellow car enthusiasts, in which case they'd probably have a sign for it :)

Normally, Derek includes "turbo" in every conversation.

I didn't mean finger spell it super fast, I meant do the sign for fast ( slide hand out and away from other hand really fast....? Just an idea.
 
My gearhead buddies and I used the "zoom" sign for turbo when we were at NTID.

Derek: come up with a new sign, will ya?
 
make a new sign, make a new language, kind of a specialty language

You must not know him well. He is always talking about turbo engines. He can find a way to loop the coversation that way , no matter what the original topic. He has quite a talent! :P
