I cannot vote because I don't live in UK.

I LOVE USA!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not British either but I think Prince William and Kate Middleton is more likely to become King and Queen given the stigma toward divorce in England for the Royal family.

who wants to pay millions of tax pounds a year for the so called "royal" family? hello hello this is 2010 not 1510. those inbreeds should be living in kentucky

It cost each person in the UK about 30 cents or thereabout to support the Royal's public purse,

I bet the Queen Elizabeth will still sit on the throne until she is 100 as her own mother lived to see 101, if I recall right. So Charles will be an old King, if he is ever crowned.

It doesn't matter who would be the "best" king and queen because it isn't determined by a vote. England has rules for royal succession, and those aren't up for discussion. If Charles outlives his mother, he'll be the next King of England, like it or lump it.

it is 40 million pounds a year to pay for the so called royals. which is around $60 million dollars. what for? they are cutting everything to the bone in england yet have to support jugeared and bucktoothed royals. they have nooo relevance in today's society beyond archaic worship

I think she meant "be". I voted for William as I don't think Charles will live long enough.

It is true that longevity seems to be on the women's side (Queen Mum and Queen Elizabeth) but not on the men's side (King George VI was only 56 when he died).

We shall see.

Hear about Obama's visit to India and it's costs?

I think it is up to Queen Elizabeth and the church to decide who will become the King next and to see if Camilla or Kate to become the new Queen. Queen Elizabeth's husband has been a Prince for many years, never became a King. So that might mean Camilla will just have to accept as Princess while Prince Charles will become King Charles. (Ahem) Camilla become Queen? No way, as she is still a commoner, not royalty. :hmm:

more people want to kill obama so costs more to protect him. the killers fly with the queen if you had been following a recent story about her pilot

I am not sure I am following what you are saying. Can you explain to me what are you trying to say about Queen Elizabeth and President Obama? I am not getting it. (scratching my head)

I agree, but, not for the same reasons as you. I simply think that when Queen Elizabeth finally passes away, Charles will be too old to assume the throne, so will abdicate to his son. Charles is in his late 60s now, so, it's more likely that William will assume the throne once his Grandmother passes away. However, this is just my opinion. I have no factual basis to back this up except seeing a recent rare interview Prince Charles gave to NBC.
