Who is AG Bell

Reason if supposed on force cause ESl because control AG BELL strong sound like strong deaf culture/hearing if supposed!

Facebook really showed me the difference. If I post about anything deaf, anything, whether serious or funny or whatever, no response whatsoever from the hearing people. I post about other topics - yak yak yak.

Mine only serious such as hate Oral and I get tons respond from hearing defend AG Bell's idea.

The only thing that I have gotten in response from my hearing friends has been either when I posted about getting my new HA's (they were all very supportive of that) or when I posted about NAD filing a law suite against Netflix because of their lack of captioning on instant play. (or rather this is all that they have responded to that has the word Deaf in it... anything else... get lots of responses)

you oral hearing! I Know many people uncomforable to oral but sometimes I notice few people oral :shock: teacher force to stop ASL not fair

oppression! not fair to education, right to control politic sound! serious
I am serious I already oral I am tried up give up I don't care teacher many complaint to me I resist to teacher rude! inappropriate force to cochlear implant me not funny!

yeah, one messaged me privately asking my views on CIs and why I never got one and i was honest with her. I was friendly in my response but honest and she got pretty upset and couldn't understand why i wasn't banging on doors to get one. She wanted me to tell her it's a miracle. Told her she asked for my opinion and she got it. That was that.

Exactly! I even told my best friend my opinion and she got pissed that I don't like hearing people teach deaf child oral only.
 
That's what's hard for me to deal with - hearing people being dismissive of Deaf people's views on matters relating to deafness. It was such a relief to come here and finally learn that I'm not alone in my views and that they do count.
 
It's amazing how hearing people go "oh my god... you view something I use daily as "worthless".... " sigh....
 
strong on sound AG Bell lots of reading, my opinion, my friends not happy because teacher control look like force to people! sound serious I already deaf is very willing accept to cochlear implant because if supposed people control force or parents whatever I notice they many refused on cochlear implant instead hearing aid!

Of course..that's why I am no longer participating in the hearing world full time like before.

Same here with my hearing friends but my deaf or culturally Deaf hearing people are the only ones who make comments.

Actually, it has happened here on AD with some former hearing ADers. Lots and lots of locked threads as a result. :lol:
