My favorite thing to do is white water rafting. My family and I are avid white water rafters. I've gone every year since I was five and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! But if I could change one thing, it would be to have more skilled Deaf rafter friends. The people I go rafting with don't sign and it puts a damper on the whole experience. :pissed:

I've spent the better part of the last several years looking for Deaf rafters and found a few but not enough! If you're a rafter, hit me up and let's see if we can make plans for this spring and summer!

Wow, pure white water!! Looks like so much fun. I have a couple videos and pictures on my other computer but it's nothing fancy with animations and stuff like that one.
I started training to become a guide a few years ago but didn't complete it.

Nope... Never went.

ah ok.

bunch of good rafting spots around here.. if it was with aspen camp, colorado river would have been the river you would have been on.

I also actually have another raft im gonna work on in garage.... Need to fix it for next year ;)

Colorado is a great place. Ever been rafting in California?

I have done some WW rafting when I was a bit younger. We used to go to ohiopyle. It is the ultimate experience between man against nature. I have not gone in quite a few years since I had lost contact with some of the people I used to go with. I dont think the experience is the same if you go with a group o people you never met before. Would love to get back on the water again :(

Wirelessly posted (Samsung Captivate (i897))

Been there and done that. My friend, my parents and I went white water rafting, of course in Colorado. :) i think it wasnt far from Gunnison.

Last fall, my family and I went to the Whitewater rafting in Maine. It was my first experience. At first, I was nervous but I went thru. I had a great time! It's awesome!
I am looking forward to going there again with my sister next Spring or summer. It's in Deerfield, MA this time. I can't wait!
I am gonna post a picture of me and my family in other thread after this message. See the Pictures & Videos!!!

oh, I see, sorry I missed this post more about your experiences rafting; I replied to your pic in other thread.
I'm very happy for you that you had a good time:D

A couple I know asked me to join them on a rafting trip on a section of the Amazon River. Unfortunately I am getting a bit long in the tooth for that. :aw:
