White water rafting

About ten years ago I spent three months in Nicaragua with a group of entomologists and biologists. It is a LONG story, lol. I wouldn't recommend it for just anyone. :lol:

It can be VERY dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. And also, no hearing aid would survive in that STEAMY atmosphere, you know? I could go on and on about this, I had such a great time and count myself as fortunate.

I wouldn't mind kayaking but was never able to because my dad, who has the kayaks I want to borrow, won't let me until I'm able to flip myself right side up in case I'm flipped over in a rapid. I lack the upper body strength needed for that :(
 
Buffalo River in Arkansas is the BEST place for water rafting! I got my ass kicked there enough to know! Whoo hoo!

Oh boy... Hard one. I'd have to say it's Kings River near Fresno.. Its not exactly incredibly challenging, but I have so many wonderful memories there!!! I practically grew up on that river. :) I've been on countless rivers but it's the one I always enjoy going back to.
