Democracy?
Communism?
Socialism?
Fascism?
Capitalism?
Islamic?
Secularism?
Nationalism?
Federalism?

Islamic is not a political system. It is a religious doctrine.

Capitalism is an economic policy that is directly related to democracy. Secularism is not a politcal system.

Capitalism is an economy system.
Democracy is best.

Communism failed in China, Russia, Vietnam, North Korea, all of Eastern Europe, etc. Communism is still alive at some universities in the US were some of the left-wing, leftist professors never compkained about their capitalism pay.
We're an economy class, not like the social class in Europe.

actually Vietnam's doing pretty well and it's a communist country. North Korea is Dictatorship with communism. All of Eastern Europe? um.... that was like 50 years ago. Some are socialists. China's a communist country and well it pretty much dominates the worldwide industry and has some muscle.

you = epic fail

Jiro, where do you see our country heading with Obama at the helm along with a solid Democratic majority in both Houses?

probably "welfare state" and some erosion of certain rights we have such as gun rights.... oh well it's OK considering the state of financial crisis we're in... and it's only 4 years. :aw:

I think that is mild compared to what is coming, sir.

si.... si.... like what Captain Picard said - "ATTENTION ALL CREWS! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" and i still don't know why people hold onto their computer, thinking they'll be ok. Seat Belts.... c'mon!

Interesting that you brought it up.

Democracy is balanced government where there always in check with all branches. That why there no dictatorship. And be glad that president of USA only has max of 8 years to run America. In a rare cases, 10 years.

Communism, Socialism, and Fascism often has dictator that remain in power for lifetime. That cause greed of power to rise and dominate the country. Its like a King builds a pyramid for his burial and cause civilization to follow his wish.

Capitalism is a form of economy marketing based. Democracy use this method to give free market as anyone can build business as they wishes, and not to be entirely controlled by government. USA is based on capitalism and we do see CEO making billions of dollars everyday.

The rest... I don't think they are a form of government or ideal.

Right now... what is working is Capitalism and Democracy is best for USA. We cannot go back to other form of government. We will consider it as suffrage.

I prefer to keep the form of government that the United States has now. It is a republic.

It was fascinating about all of your perceptive at all forms of the government system. It was very interesting. Iran founded the Islamic State of political and religion system in 80's. North Korea, Cuba, China is only the Communist countries. China is leaning to Socialism from Communism. Some Europe countries like Sweden are using Socialism, but they have their own freedom. Some countries still using Republic system. Turkey is using secularism system by neturalize both Islamic and Christianity. Turkey government is struggling in the political system right now. Wow, many countries used various forms of the government system. Thank you for sharing!!! :ty:

Democracy, capitalism for economy and secularism, also we have some socialism side as well.

you need to brush up on your history lesson... and political science as well...
1. Russia is a communist country... and so are handful of other countries
2. Sweden is a Constitutional Monarchy (same as UK)... not socialist
3. China is not leaning to socialism.. It's a communist state but integrating capitalism into its communist state
4. Turkey is Republican Parliamentary Democracy... and yes it's undergoing thru volatile political change to become a secular nation

more and more nations are integrating the concept of capitalism (or free market) but it does not affect their government structure. I think you're confusing government structure with system of economy.

It's more accurate to say - European countries in general are MUCH MUCH more liberal than USA.

Please educate yourself on socialism. It is NOT something like welfare state, universal health care, etc. NO!

In my opinion, I'd think Democracy and Capitalism blends in together very well.

That is because we need the balance in making a decision rather than having ONE person to make the decision for the whole country. It also gives everyone a chance to voice out regarding to different issues, so and on.

If the communism system was here in America - It's going to be scary. :Ohno:

i prefer to have democracy for usa , not capitalism for usa.. that end up we show CEO are greed! taht is something i dont want.. i want everyone same and fair..
if someone made rich, and other made poor , then that end up both side get high ride emotion.. no wonder high rate crime in usa!

My friend from Ireland told me same thing, Liberal in his Country. He said freedom pretty much the same as USA but high in taxes and gas price are always high. I don't want Socialism or Communism in USA. If we have Socialism or Communism in our country, I don't know how will they treat us deafie:Ohno::Ohno: .

I recalled in 90's, when we had Presidential candidates bidding for race, I saw one guy running for Communist party and he had only 1 vote and dropped out. I saw that on TV and it was brief moment for him while rest of Republicians, Democrats and Liberals were running for Prez. Did you remmy that??

Catty
