I normally keep my extra hearing aid batteries in 2 hearing aid caddies (that makes 4 batteries to carry around) inside my purse. I usually buy the hearing aid caddies (maroon colored) from a local RadioShack. :) I saw some once at my audiologist/hearing aid place but I didn't get them there. :)

Here's what my caddy looks like that came from RadioShack: Maroon-colored hearing aid caddies

What about you? :)

I have one case in my car and one on my computer desk lol

but of course, I guess I could put one in my wallet, just in case...

I alway leave my HA and CI batteries in my drawer. I mostly bring one pack of CI battery in my jacket. I don't carry purse.. :barf:

i dont wear hearing aids now since it's not working good for me.... yet.... if i have it.. i put in the hearing aid caddy or on dresser... *shrugs*

I usually leave it on my desk or dresser. If I feel that my hearing aid battery is going to die, I'll bring along the pack.

When I had hearing aids years ago, I'd keep the batteries in the fridge because the AZ heat would shorten the battery life.

i usually put battries for my cochlear implant in a drawer next to bed cuz thats where i owuld put my cochlear implant.. out of habit cuz i used to have a dog who likes to chew everything thta is electronic also i used to have a kid who like to lick batteries then making expression then lick it again then making expression again . funny little toddler but it could risk his health so i put it in drawer for safety reason .

no cuz of thefts so i was forced to keep them in a locked drawer (they didnt last very long when the batteries were kept in drawer oh well) -- then later when i was living with my ex they were in the mini-fridge

They didn't last long in the drawers? Why is that? Keeping them in the fridge didn't make any difference for my batteries. I know that it's supposed to help keep them lasting long, so if I had 10 packs... then I would keep them in the fridge. With only one pack, I'm not worried. ;)

i cant explain why they didnt last very long -- ive noticed some differences in battery life if kept in fridge or kept in a drawer and today's battery prices has gone up BIG time so i want to be able to know which brand ACTUALLY has the longest life possible

i also think it may have to do with the brands too -- duracall lasts longer than the other brands like energizers, CVS/PEOPLE drug brands, ofc this is IMHO -- some ppl might disagree tho

i dont wear my HAs very much anymore -- only limit it for work or if i have tinniaus (ringing in ear)

Actually, it depends on the hearing aid that it's used for. Some brands are better than others cuz they last longer on low-usage. Some others last longer on high usage. What I mean is, some electronic equipment burn a lot of energy in short times so some batteries can handle the high powered stuff. Some don't use a lot of energy, so they can last longer on low power.

I had to use hearing aids that are high-powered, so I swear by refridgerated Duracell batteries!
