Jeremy and I am going out with my parents and some friends to AppleBee's and then go shopping for a while. Jeremy's parents is going to watch Nathan for the night. :) What about you guys?

going to my mate's place for a piss up with my boyfriend

I am going to take my boys out to lunch at Red Lobester on New Years eve and then maybe go out with a friend of mine in the evening not sure yet.

shopping, then at night going to chicago to meet up my friends ( hopefully) but I have to be back due to work on new years day at 10 am. :-P

Stay home with my family and be safe. Order take-outs and watch DVDs.

We're going to stay home with the children and rent some DVD movies.....

<--- embarassed to say this but will be working from 9-6pm then head out to buy a liquor and drive over to friend's apt where we can see the view of the city with excitements...

Normally we prefer to stay home New Year's Eve cuz its safer, etc. But this year, we are going out with another couple to Yamazoto's, a Japanese restaurant, fairly a upscale place and then over to this couple's place for desserts, snacks, a few drinks till the New Year rings in!

I might go go-karting with a couple friend, then go to another friend's apartment for a small party. Not sure though. :dunno:

My husband has to work early morning on new years day so he will go to bed early the night before. My children are too young yet to stay up until midnight, so I will be the only one up at midnight...oh well I will try to catch some friends on vp and hope they will keep me company and also I will be online on computer.

would just hang out with some of my friends in town proably just chillin' 'til we get to the city and watch for the fireworks and stuff.

For today, I had all day plans but had to cancel most due to an emergency meeting at work :(

So my girls and I will meet up with a girlfriend and her family for dinner out at my favorite resturant then hang out for a swim and games before they fly home in PA at 12 50 AM.

My girls are hoping to be able to stay awake to midnight. At this rate, I probably won't make it. Definitely not a night person!

Cheers everyone and please be safe!

i am stuck here.. due to petsitting.. and almost most of my married friends are busy and a distance.. grrr...

we usually meet up with friends at someone's place but my husband said he's so tired of traveling for the past 2 weeks (we both work for school system so we get 2 weeks off) so he just wanna stay home tonight :( I was really looking forward to another new years with friends. Oh well.

I might be cancelling all of my plans with my friends since my parents are giving me this bullshit guilt trip about how I never do anything with them. I spent the whole week with them last week and this week doing things with them. I went to the mall, went shopping, went out for lunch and dinner, played cards with them, played games with them, went to their class at church, went to the worship service with them, went to a religious party with them... now, is that not enough!?
