And, I can't wait for my best friend to having her baby on this Monday. She will have induce on this Monday at 8am.

Wow! I slept until 11 AM. That's so not like me. The reason I was exhausted was cuz my deaf brother and I took the Baltimore light rail to go to Inner Harbor last night. We stopped at Camden Yards and walked 5 blocks to all the bars and restaurants in Inner Harbor. We must have walked for like 4 hours from the station and back to the station. We chilled out at the pier bar overlooking the waterfront drinking frozen pina coladas. Yummy! My brother fell in love with Baltimore (his first time there). Not only we did walk for 4 hours, the day before, we walked the dog and my son for an hour going up and down hills in my neighborhood. Feels great!!!!

Today, I am gonna go to the deaf two year old's house to interview a potential babysitter for the summer since our babysitter is moving to North Carolina. I hope we find someone before she leaves which is on June 26th. Ugh!!! I want my son to continue to stay with his deaf friend and of course the sitter must be fluent in ASL. So tough to find someone we can trust who is fluent in ASL. Wow!

Good luck with your search for a babysitter...it can be so stressful because we have to make sure the sitter is a good one. I very recently found a daycare for my daughter at the place we're moving to...so perfect because they have deaf and hearing kids mixed there. It's a new program that they're doing. I'll PM you, Shel, soon to tell you about it. Good luck with your search.

It would be so cool if we on AD agree to meet on DeafChat one night to chat (live) with one another. That way we know who's from AD without having to ask. I don't really know the real or full history of AD and DC...but there is a sad history...and that's why I love AD because it is open to ALL deaf and HH and hearing folks.... My SN is different because they wouldn't let me use "deafbajagal" when I register...so if you see "Flowerpower" - that's me!

Poor me! I had 3 (supposed to be 4) wisdom teeth pulled out! I'm in bed right now, in pain, and my face is swollen like a lopsided balloon. Pain med isn't really helping, even when I took Ibuprofen with it.

Ouch! I have never had widsom teeth pulled out so I cant imagine how it must feel. Hope u will feel better soon!
