Because my hearing has declined to the point I can no longer pick up BPs using a standard Stethoscope and using the radios would just be a mishmash of static and 'blah blah blah'.

I am already profoundly deaf in my left ear and severe hoh in my right. I feel that if I cannot properly communicate then I would be putting patients at greater risk.

Not only that my certifications expired as of August 2007.

Here is the sad part though - EMT Basics only make $7.50 an hour saving lives and working 24 hour shifts, but people at the poultry plants like me make $9-10 an hour. Im not asking for a pay cut, but I believe EMTs and Medics should get paid more for the crap they have to put up with. I believe their pay should be comparable to that of nursing, but sadly it is not. Alot of Paramedics have gone to nursing due to the better pay.
 
my hubby and i woke up at 2:45am yesterday cuz of we went to flea market and selling stuff.. i got pretty good money.. yaya.. so we came home abt 4pm and we took nap and were tired... hehe.. then we watch rent movies..


now today, i stay home and chilin out.. i clean some in home and rest most.. cuz of my chest pain came back again yesterday gee!

Hiya Dixie, Sorry I haven't read your truck shopping blog yet, because my brain doesn't want me to read at this stage (I'm tired).

Anyway, the poor dog in your blog got my attention. I can't believe this is happening... I thought the RSPCA (or whatever it is called in the US) would take immediate action if they knew an animal was being treated badly.

I hope people at the exhibition are feeding the dog - or better yet, free the dog or have the dog put down.

Sorry about going "off topic". I just feel upset about what I saw.
 
It upset me as well - my first reaction is to track the sicko down and tether him to a tree and leave him there to starve to death and call it 'art'. Im a big dog lover and my heart broke for the dog and Im actively trying to get the word out for people to sign the petition to get this guy banned. Im surprised the ASPCA, RSPCA, or PETA hasnt made a public comment on this yet. Someone with alot of pull needs to take a stand for what's right, not just turn their head and try to forget it. I know I can't.

Last night I babysat my friend's daughter till 12:45 and got home and went to bed at 1:30 am. BOY I was so tired and knock out pretty fast!

I finally got TJ's school pictures scanned. Whew. :)

Today is real nice but a bit cool, surprised me but i aint complaining hehe! :)

the dogs are enjoying the sun and worshipping the sun. :)
 
i cook fresh beans with bacon for dinner.. yummy.. so i will make brownies with peanut butter and make tea so 5pm, will cook dinner
 
:giggle: I copied cat Tweetybird! I made brownies! LOL! Not with peanut butter though...just chocolate and optional add frosting on it.
 
Its been another good day. I feel like Im on the verge of something wonderful as in we are going start having serious negotations with the car dealer tomorrow via the phone. My dad will do the talking. Fingers and toes crossed that I will come out on the good end of this - part of me wants to have a new truck by the end of the week but at the same time I know I need to be patient. If this is for me, then I will be praising and giving thanks to the Good Lord. If not then I know that the Good Lord has something better in store for me, either way I am thankful for the opportunity.

i stay home, just chillin out.. i am think abt clean kitchen with lil bleach and kill germs.. smiles.. also i will call my dr for result..

I also plan to clean kitchen too...didn't do dishes last night. Opps! I was tired and watched movie. :)
