What is your favorite Irish old saying or verse?

My would be " You can accomplish more with a kind word and a shillelagh than you can with just a kind word. " :wiggle:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

My father is an Irish.

I will remember your question when I am going to fax him tonight or tomorrow and will ask him what's his favorite.

That a nice one Reba,, I seen this one before. But it a good one. Nice posting.

(oops...having a hard time putting the website on this posting...) Oh, well.

I'm surprised no one said this one...

KISS ME, I'M IRISH!

"Beware of people who dislike cats."

"If you're lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough."

And my personal favorite,

"Do you want some Irish in you?" :D
