What Would You Do With The Money?

If you won the $290 million Mega Millions jackpot, what would you do with the money? Quit your job? Go on vacation? Dream away! :mrgreen:

1.) I would prefer to not take part in a ridiculous press conference and subject myself to a lot of stupid questions by reporters. I would like to keep my low profile for our family protection.

2. ) Hire a real smart lawyer and financial advisor,take the cash,and DROP outta sight!!!

3.) I would pay off my debts, and put money aside for my children's tuition.

4.) I would have many charities to Mental Health Group homes, illness children, animal society, etc... ( I can't think of anything else) ?

5.) Then go on a spa for a few weeks with friends. Other than that i would enjoy it.

6.) I would buy a house on the Island of Rhode Island or Cape Cod, that sits on a hill, that has both a view of the Mountains and the Ocean.

7.) I get myself a new car. I can't think about what i would do with $280 millon dollars.I can't even begin to start!

8.) Oh I forgot - I would QUIT my first shift job. I did not want a farewell party at all.
 
290 million! OMG.

I would of course, set an extremely generous 50 million aside for each of my children to inherit when they're of age. I'd donate a million each to my favorite charities. Make-a-wish, animal rights charities and of course the League for the Hard of Hearing. I'd buy plenty of land, build log cabins and live someplace where I wouldn't have to worry about heavy traffic. The rest of it, I guess we'd save for groceries and clothing and paying off bills for the rest of our lives. We wouldn't have to work anymore, that is for sure!
 
That is an easy answer....

I would give some of my money to any Children Charities..

and I would buy a house, give some for my Children when they get older and use the money wise...

also will give some to my sister ^Angel^ and My Dad (after all he did so much for me in the Past.)

and take my family to Walt Disney Land...:) (I know I gotta get a big hug for that!) lol!

And....Buy myself a Jeep! yeah baby! :D


I wouldn't quit my job even If I had so much money....I am just going to stick with my Job and get extra!;)
 
Well, I could remodel my house, donate to the charities, buy me a car, pay all the bills.. ugh! Go to New Zealand. It's my dream to go there for a vacation.
 
If I win that kind of money, I will quit my job tomorrow, buy myself a nice Hummer H2, and buy a house on the beach and pay off everything, and put some money in the bank and live long without getting up early in the morning and go to work.
 
I would...
  • pay off everything I owe.
  • buy a new house and car.
  • finish school.
  • set up a savings account for a specific amount so that I can save for anything I need in the future.
  • donate to several charities.
  • donate to RIT to have a new deaf building built under my name.
  • do many more!
 
Me? ummm
Id pay off all the freakin bills!
Pay off my house and car!
Set up trust fund for my grandkids
Donate to my favorite charities like The Humane Society of US (prevention of animal abuse) for one.
I would quit this stupid job and say "botchi mi coola!"
Travel all over the world!
Invest in some stocks
etc, etc, etc, etc....
LOL!
 
As for me,
I would love to investment and stock and bond blah blah... for a year to build it up for my kid's future university or colleage wha..ever..

Buy Nice Huge Country home
lotsa of Travelling different places
Buy Island and to have nice peace home as cottage
Buy more Bulldogs (chuckles)
Pay off the rest 3 debts.
Buy for my hubby's dream pick up truck
Buy for my own surbruan truck. (chuckles)
Left money toward to Bank.. In case emergency needed.,
 
290 million? wow! I would get faint if I won like this.

First of all is:
1. my house should be pay off!
2. buy brand new car (I don´t care which car but my hubby want to have jeep)
3. Set up trust fund for my boys´s future
4. Donate any homeless/abuse children & also animals, any charities, too.
5. Travel all over the world with my family
6. Buy beach house
7. drive to anywhere & stay at luxury hotel at every weekends

That´s all what I wish BUT I would NEVER give my job up. My life should remain the same as usual. I won´t let money to change my life because the money is not everything.
 
Buy a new home in FL to be near my parents is my pripority and save $$ for my kids' colleges in the future.

If we have plenty of money left then we will visit to Austrilia that i have been dreaming since i was a kid. SMALL HINT lots of hottie guys who become actors, Julian Mcmahon, other guys too i forget their names. LOL
 
I would .....

1. buy a houses for each two daughters
2. pay colleges for each two daughters
3. loves travels in worlds
4. donote childrens illness .... ( differents kinds dieases )
5. I already paid off house and cars in a long times ago
6. house with swimming pool in alaska ( for vacation only)
 
I would:

-put all money in the bank and use ONLY the interest every year. That way, I will not run out of money. I would never use the money, only from the interest.
-help out financially with my and my husband's families.
-make a will that my husband and five of our children will get the equal share.
-donate some money to deaf ministries.
-donate some money to some of my favorite charities.
-build church building with school for the deaf.
-of course I would use some money to pay off house, van, etc. And go on nice trip somewhere with family.
 
-I'd put some money aside for family --

-travel back to US to see my mum and sister (give them money, too)

-purchase a house in California....Maryland AND a couple around Australia. :lol:

-I will get hubby and myself moved to a different place, in order to be left alone and not bothered by certain people, ya know? Heh.

-Give some money to a few friends who need it.
 
Will keep one million to myself, 500K to set up my own business and give some leftovers to my friend's business, then the rest will go to animal and enviroment protection agencies such as PETA, ASACPA, GreenPeace, Save Tibet, et cetera.

I can invest my one million to last us (ie. my future family) a lifetime. No Problem-o. 290 is too much altho. I can give a thousand to each homeless person ont he streets across the nation and still can give more money to those in third-world countries.. eh, 290 million could feed the hungry children, save animals, educate people, and many more! why keep it all to myself? I am fine living on 500bucks per month.
 
True, Tousi...Uncle Sam would take large chunk. After that, I would put them in the bank. I thought Uncle Sam would take about 35%. Guess I'm wrong.
