What kind of furniture do you have?

Never heard of IKEA furniture..smallish kind of furniture for small places like apartments?

It´s popular in Germany...

IKEA is produced by Swedish...

very simple & light wood... I would say it´s very light pine wood...

Of course they sell furniture there... bed, couch, etc.

They sells very cheap...

Most of raw wood sells there which it´s good for restoration work... I bought few with special offer to restore to trick into antique look...

Oh ok, i understand! think i have seen those kind of furniture but didnt know what kind they are..just simple and light colored wood furniture..thanks for your input!

I like to keep it simple. What I would probably get is a couple computer desks since I have 3 computers (2 desktops & 1 laptop). I would also get a full-size bed, some shelves, a filing cabinet, a couple couches, one nice chairk, and a couple of my own office chairs.

Duh! I forgot that I'll need a couple dressers as well! I'll also need an entertainment center for my television, video game consoles, movies, and games. Hmm... a coffee table and a recliner might even be added as well.

Currenty our sofa are mostly 100% futon.. cuz guest would able to sleep on futon in the living room. When my kids are out grown so big and can handle responbile as well then will be change brand new nice furnitures as modern or else depend on my taste.

My wall t.v. unit will be history because little bit wreck due thanks lot of moving caused damaged. (rolls my eyes up) Men are no patience and all wants hurry move in and over with it.. I felt like *ugh*, wha.. mattah with men are so such hurrying..

Yeah, my taste is antique furniture, also country antique too, romantic style… Our rooms are bright & friendly atmosphere like old fashioned & country look… I don´t like dark rooms because it make so miserable.

I am not type to buy very expensive furniture but I have some at years ago… I rather to change everything into antique look & expensive look…

I´m furniture restorer… I did change my old furniture into different styles… instead of throw or sell them. I trick my old furniture into different styles… like Toscona (Italian sytle), French, Marine Navy (toilet), Victorian time, Scottish Style, false them into antique look… many dried flowers…

I collect old things, pictures, photo frames from garage sale or moving sale, also from my dead Great Aunt´s old furniture at 2 years ago…I also use them as handcraft works & art color, restoration work…

We have different styles in different room… like one Toscana Style, Marine at toilet,
German kitchen, English Romantic style at bedroom, Greek style at bathroom to hall, study room – English style, dinning room – French antiques look which I restored all of the furniture to replace at every rooms.
It make interesting when you open the door to see different rooms instead same style to every rooms. It´s me…

or are you planning on getting a couch from the trash? many college students do that i have noticed it....

before i was married and i'm roommates with 3 other college students.. we got a couch from the trash (not in trash but its next to trash) heh?

anyway... now.. i have furniture from slumberland like those styles ( i dunno what kind of style is my couch.. seems like a traditional style heh) will take picture when i get time

and yeah that vikings Pillow is a way to go GO VIKINGS!
(something i would like to show off my own Football team)

Yeah, I know how you feeling over the kids & pets... I know what the kids & pets alike... True...
I would never buy anything expensive because I know my kids & cat would spoil it. I only collect old things to change into nice one...

My sons watch me work on the furniture & know that they are proud of our house & did not do anything to dirty them... They have their own bedroom with toys & also have a room for playground, then they can play with their friends there... anything what they want. :P

especially at a small town environment
just like you mentioned earlier at the
other postings.. i have my own little condo
i was joking around putting the
gold plate on the front door
"Welcome to the Tranquility Estate"
making this sound as if it's at the
front gates made of irons and
Greek style columns with long lines of trees
on over 5,000 acres of land
near the beach with a 20 rooms house
with 16 cars garage
and near a huge bay for boating etc
even though mine is only a little condo ha ha

Ah, we have mostly wooden furniture...country style more than anything...our kitchen table and chairs are country-ish...our bed, dressers, etc...are all made out of different types of wood.

The cats seem to love it, too. Got little claw marks from where they tend to scratch...but we're trying to introduce them to OTHER alternatives.
