How about Deaf Seperatist? I don't think Deaf Pride is a correct term.....I am proud to be Deaf, but I am not Deaf Seperatist.

Who is to say that a person is a true advocate or follower of "Deaf Pride"?

"Deaf Pride" is a term that is vaguely used. Here at NTID, "Deaf Pride" has several different definitions. According to those definitions, some students do fit and some don't. Of course, some students who were claimed to fit... but were claimed to not fit by other people. Again, it's vaguely used.

For all we know, your guy could fit the description... under your definition... but not other people's description. :dunno:
