No plan yet. I think I'll be at some big and fancy park for fireworks time. Of course, we always will have nice dinner. Nom nom nom.
I will go to my roommate's house for BBQ and go to Independence.

They just lifted our burn ban, so there may be fireworks. We don't go since I hate crowds and it's too hard to keep track of my mother. I will be grilling burgers and dogs, we also have baked beans potato salad and cole slaw. Then I will grill some peaches and have ice cream on the grilled peaches. MIL has never had that and I was wanting to treat her. (remember, I am doing the killing with kindness process with her).

Going to drive down to New Orleans this weekend! Starting early tomorrow morning, then coming back on Tuesday. I am so freaking excited! Not only I will party on Bourbon St, but Ill also go fishing/canoeing around the marsh areas. Hopefully, no alligators will eat me...

We are staying home and fireworks at lake in my area!![]()

Agreed. I am not fond of the commercial displays, either. Too many people crowded. My nephew lives out in the country on several acres, and his house is where the family gathers for holidays. We set off legal fireworks at his house. The kids seem to enjoy it more than actually going to the display in town.
Today was one of the BEST 4th of July celbrations ever. Pool all day, dinner, and then fireworks at a school. What was awesome about it was that there was a live band, concessions stands, and shows at that event and then the firework show was one of the BEST I have ever seen. The way they designed the fireworks was spectatular! never seen anything like that in my life.
My day was an A +++++++++++++++++++++++ day!

I'm glad you had a great time on the Fourth.![]()

Thanks!!!
Yea...no stress at all. Both kids were great..they played with the other kids. It was hosted by the Latino Deaf and Hard of Hearing Association of the DC Metropolitian area. They picked a GREAT pool...actually, it was 6 different pools with different themes and a GREAT place for the fireworks show. It was in Wheaton, MD. Very strong Hispanic area so I felt right at home.![]()
My best friend wants me, and my girls come to her home near the beach. We will watch the fireworks over the ocean!![]()
Nice breeze by the beach! and hate traffic home from Cape Cod! ;P
