What do you do on Saturday?

Sort of had a crazy saturday. The toilet clogged up, grrr. So, yeah I had to use the plunger and when it didn't work, I had to use the eel on the toilet. There was still no luck to it and I'm about to my wit's end on that, argh! I got a friend that came over here to help me with it. He tried to work on it and it didn't help at all. So, that means I gotta get a plumber to come up here and have a look at it. *groans* Talk about burning up the wallet to pay the plumber.

I'm just relieved that I do have 1 1/2 restroom because if not, I'd be doomed.

If you have a big bottle of soda, pour it in the toilet. It takes a while to dissolve the clog in the pipe.

Or, you could mix with the baking soda and vinegar then pour it in the pipe.

That would save your big bucks. Good Luck!

I still have no power *electricity* and hot water running since Hurricane Ike hit since a week and a few days. I want my sweet home to have spicy and span so bad... *waiting patiencely*......... Houston is suffering with the ecomony for a while. My work is closed for more than a week and i transferred to other place til the power turns on....some branches where I work at were totally damaged. We all survived by the help we got.

This Saturday (yesterday) we went to the Scottish Games and Gathering of the Clans at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston. We had a wonderful time. :)

Yesterday was absolutely exhausting! I had to work again yesterday so I was up at 4:45 as usual. Then I sprayed down afterwork, grabbed a 40 pound box of ice before I left. I got home and immediately started working on getting my DDs birthday party organized and what not, had to pick up the cake. I went to the park an hour early to set up. Oh no, that hour was spent picking up trash and the next 30-45 minutes sweeping out the pavilion where the city had NOT cleaned it up when I reserved it. Needless to say we will not be having another birthday party at the park due to that fiasco. I got it cleaned, but I was sweeping out still as kids and parents started arriving.

We were there at the park from 3:00 - 8 pm. We were done with the party at 6:00, but we cleaned up after ourselves and then we let the kids stay and play at the playground for about another hour before we left. I didnt get to bed until 11:00 last night. :dizzy:

I am ready for a truly restful and relaxing weekend. Like maybe me and my DD get up and go walk the Cedar Falls trail on Petit Jean or something laid back like that.
