What are you afraiding of...

i dont know if i have any other fears outside of the stupid glaucoma test thingie (the vision test using that blue/purple light for those that might not be familiar on which test it was) :roll: -- i know some of u might think im :crazy: cuz its a machine that wouldnt HURT a thing but still my gawd having something going WAYYYYY too *close* to my eyeballs with me staring right into it makes me break out in sweats, hands become so clammy and sweaty *sigh* this is the phobia i have not yet conquered and dunno when that would ever happen -- so no way in hell would anyone talk me into going for lasik surgery!!!! :nono:

So am I allergy of bees.. Made me terrifed scary and doesn't want near bee..
Glady that my children are supportive me and when tells me bee is near you.. I shook and still stand up wait for bee leaving.. Cute litte son bring newspaper and swang spank bee's butt.. He say.. GO AWAY.. don't near my mommy ever again! Never I forget when He was tiny boy.. ((chuckles))
 
Believe it or not,..I used to be afraid of dogs!! i didnt know why until i was about 15 or 16, my dad finally told me why...I was asking my mom about that scar on my chin, she said go ask your dad..so i did, he hemmed & hawed then finally, he asked if i remember a dog attacking me, i said no! He said i was about 4 yrs old, when his cousin's chichiaua (spell?) dog bit me on the chin, tearing the skin off so had 5-6 stitches put in! also he said, do you remember a dog biting you on your rear? i said no! i was about 5 or so, but i dont remember it! he said well maybe you got mental block against these dog attacks! i must have because at that age, you normally remember things like that but i didnt! that explained why i was so scared of dogs!! but after i learned of this, im not afraid of them anymore, weird huh? I love dogs now! in fact, i have a pitbull dog! he is the sweetest dog in the world!
Im not afraid of anything except i hate wasps as a lot of people do ha! i got stung by a wasp in my eye that required emergency room care! i looked like someone punched me in the eye! lol! it was so swollen, black and blue!
im surprised that alot of you are afraid of guns!! Im not! im used to them!
my brother used to take me hunting with him so i learned to respect guns. my husband loves guns and hunting and all. If you learn how to handle guns, you wont be afraid of them.

Afraid of SPIDERS and SNAKES!! I would froze to death if snakes or spiders coming after me. YIKES!! :mad:
 
lol I just dont really understand how so many people can be afraid of spiders...I never was...because they are the easiest to kill, but sure they can be quick and hard to catch and should be really careful where you go, etc...but at least I can just swat 'em as a bug...oh yeah.

so...what if "eight legged freaks" was based on a true story?? lol
 
Why are some of you so afraid of little bitsy spiders?? just squash them! I had a tarantula for a pet when i was a kid, my dad taught me not to be afraid of them, as long as you treat it gently, it will not hurt you! hes right!
i petted it and it just loved it!
 
I´m scared of wasps, spiders, snake....
I protect my sons against wasps..... They loves to bother you when you eat something sweet (candies)...
The wasp went to my son´s friend´s mouth... He choked & can´t breathe because the wasp is inside his thoart... He was rushed to hospitail to have an operate to remove the wasp from his thoart.. It save his life.... That´s why I´m scared of wasps & make sure that wasps won´t come to my sons... I never forget....
I got a original photo of man who was sunbath naked.. he was bite by bee... but everyone think it´s wasp... :dunno: (it´s not hoax picture).

Recently I went with a friend to her hospital.. and they have this type of elevator with windows so as it goes up and down on a side of the building so you get the view of the "city" from the elevator... (that is the CONSTANT thought of my phobia- "Will this structure fall apart and I fall to my death?")
It is strange because usually I force myself to tolerate high places ie: elevators but my behavior is obviously affected by my phobia.. I am straining to face and defy the fear yet it is an infallible phobia.

I have defied my fear of cockroaches and spiders... I stopped screaming whenever I see a roach or a BITSY SPIDER... but still I am squeamish about them and avoiding them much as i can.. (THAT IS NORMAL, RIGHT?! lol) I can kill a spider on my own... with a LOT, LOT of tissue paper and protective gloves on my hands... :-D AN IMPROVEMENT. ;) Usually I would scream and scream until somebody comes and takes that little disgusted thing away from my "space"...

:rofl: I have an extreme case of anchranophobia (SPIDERS). I am absolutely TERRIFIED of those creepy crawlies. I also am a big chicken of other insects as well. Don't ask me why...I just am! :P The Huntsman spider, specifically, is the one I have the most fear of -- here's an image and you'll see why. They're bloody FAST, ugh! *shuddering*

:lol: I am afraid of the poisonous ones, because ive had black widows in my old house a couple times, one was on ceiling of my room, I looked up while stretching when I was reading and was like :shock: and moved out of the room quick and yelled for my grandfather to kill it .. one in dining room, luckily i could see it because the wallpaper was very dark blue..and one in garage.. so eek..

Oh My!...Where do u live I am Curious I never saw a Black Widow here..I would pee my Pants for sure if I saw one...I do not like Spiders Myself Not even Huge ones!.. little ones are ok I can hit them with my broom :lol: But Most of the time I just jumped and run out screaming...

I dont like any poisonous ones, but i dont mind tarantulas.. which is strange I dont know why I wasn't afraid of those. I held one once and it didn't bother me.. im weird i guess
 
Oh defineitaly I would peed on my pant if sees spider depend what kind.. espically made me gracouisly scream guarenteed... which the dangerous spider is Acponicionbia (sp) moves quicker where you moves.. will jump and bite quicker.. that made in my memories stuck come from movie..

Forget to add what I scared mostly is Zecke... Let me tell you the story about this...
I tried to find out what is Zecke into English (tick ?) I think it´s not right word... = The Zecke is the relatives of the spider who dived into human´s body to affect the infection or suck the blood etc... Zecke are most dangerous. We have to wear light clothes safety when we went to forest...

It affected my husband at 6 years ago. Few hours after pick the flowers he notice something red mark on his leg. We thought it´s just harmless insect bite (we used to have mosquito around during hot summer time.)
Anyway, he felt something strange about his leg... like heavy as "stone" - pain when he walked. It also pain when he itch... I tried to cool his hot red wound leg... it goes worst... (see the similar picture - 3rd day) The red mark goes quite big & hard & hot... pain.... to 5th day so he went to Doctor for the check.. The doctor alarmed after check my husband´s leg & tried to do everything to kill the poison off from his leg with special injection & told him it´s Zecke-spider... He´s very lucky...
See the picture from 3rd to 10th day... the man doesn´t bother to go doctor for the check... how it look worst... They can´t do anything to save his thumb but cut his thumb off...
We have 3 or 4 kinds of Zecke (tick)... little black, brown or light brown....
