We are having major flooding here.

We are fine but there's flooding everywhere! The city offices here are flooded and a lot of businesses are trying to clean up the mess and salvage what they can. The creek is rising again due to the remainder of the water finally breaking free in places and running down. There is debris all over the roads. PFH, I don't live in a trailer and so far I haven't seem any floating away. This is one weird Thanksgiving.

Our farm is fine but I saw two other farms that were completely flooded out. My boss said the creek washed out part of the road to the chicken houses in the pasture but it's fixable by bringing more gravel and possibly adding another drainage culvert underneath the rOad.
 
Well the sun is shining again so that's a good sign that things are returning to normal. Some of my neighbors are still flooded in though.

I'm glad the sun is shining again. I'm sorry for your flooded neighbors. I hope they'll be able to recover.

Glad to hear from you. I'm sure you're not looking forward to all the cleaning up you'll need to do after the flood recedes.
 
No, we have some brush to clear out this weekend along our property that is near the highway. There's a large tree blocking the culvert near the driveway.
 
Wow...glad you are ok. Now, we are getting hit big time with the rains you got and there is minor flooding happening now. GRR!

Sun is shining here in Utah. Hope the rain is gone from Your area on Sat as we're flying into BWI that afternoon and then the shuttle will be taking us up 95 to DE.

It will be gone long before that. Thunderstorms tmw and then sunny for the rest of the week. Will be warm tmw..like 65 degrees but temps will go down slightly. This is weird weather for November but I am enjoying the warm weather so far! Just can do without the rain.

Like I said - anybody below me.... how unfortunate. little bit of mudslide here and there. fallen trees. flood. etc. and me? never heard of it :lol:

I'm located on top of mountain - same level as George Washington Bridge

Ya'll please blow some rain this way? We have only had 2.5 inches this year.
 
A lot of rain today. .95 inches and everything seems alright. I have drainage culvert pipe right under my driveway by the road. Me and the puppy went for a walk to check it out. I removed some leaves and the water was freezin.

It rained for a bit then it quit then BOOM it all came down hard and it went on and on for HOURS. We live on the side of a mountain yet there was water right up to our driveway. :shock: However we have a long steep driveway so we weren't worried about the water reaching the house. I'm still getting texts and FB messages that some of my neighbors further up the road are still flooded in.
