did you forget Afghanistan and our homeland country? no terrorist attacks for 7 years and counting......

We have more reason to be fighting in Afghanistan than we do Iraq.

Our country is no safer than it was following 9/11.

Jiro, you and I have continued to spin our wheels endlessly when it concerns 9/11, so let's just agree to disagree please. You feel one way about Bush and I feel another. Let's leave it at that.

instead of telling me to agree to disagree, simply do not respond to my post. :)

and I still have never understod what "our country is no safer than it was following 9/11" means. It's just a silly propaganda by liberals. Are you afraid? cuz I'm not and I work in NYC everyday - a prime target for any terrorists in the world. So far.... no terrorist attack for 7 years and counting.... I'm feeling a lot safer than before! :cool2:

The last time I checked, you weren't a mod.

By the way, you could take your own advice. :cool2:

makes absolutely no sense at all. is this a hiss fight or something?

btw - check my last minute re-edit

I've had an opportunity to read Obama's speech that Reba posted and I'm more convinced of how well it was done.

Again, kudos to Obama.

you've already said that in your post #93. Again - same response in my post #116 - "Still in campaign mode...... wondering when will [Obama] ever stop talking, blaming, and apologizing... and actually start get working to fix the problems that [Obama's] been preaching about."

My concern - is Obama abandoning Israel?

ouch. oh well. now this is where we can agree to disagree but I do agree with you on one thing - I think Israel should stop aggressively alienating Palestinians with bulldozers and tanks. :)

again - please get half of your other facts right. 9/11 would not have happened if Clinton didn't ignore security advisories and slashed defense budget for national security. again - 9/11 would not happened if Clinton exerted his executive decision to fix it.

1. The fact is 9/11 was under Bush´s watch, not Clinton.

2. The fact is Bush should take Clinton´s advice to focus on fighting terrorism.

9/11 plot were started during Clinton admin and there's no evidence if Bush has ignore or unaware of warning.

I wasn't aware of 9/11 until airplane hits WTC on 9/11/01.

The truth? That's your opinion.

Soldiers always respect the position of President, no matter who is serving.

Really?

What a ridiculous conclusion. During Bush's eight years in office, one person threw shoes at him during that whole time. Obama's been in office less than four months. People do protest against Obama, too.

No matter how many months or years Bush and Obama took office but Iraqi did throw shoes at Bush during his speech in Iraq.

Oh yes of course, everyone protest against presidents. It´s normal but throw shoes at him... wow...

Just because they don't throw their shoes proves nothing.

wow... :jaw:

When did Bush ever say that he hated another culture and religion? Proof please.

To my view on his behavior toward Muslim world because of his history since after 9/11 attack.

:hmm: I wonder what would have happened if America had respected and tolerated Hitler, Mussolini, and the Emperor of Japan during WWII? Would that have been the path to peace?

wow, Oh yes I remember that you tried to compare Obama with Hitler in my another lock thread.

I really have no idea why you use Hitler, Mussolini and the Japan to compare with Obama and Muslim world.

***BTW, today is D-Day.***

Yes I know. What´s your point?

Yes, really. Since you have worked so many years for the American military I thought you knew that.

In other words, you have no proof because it didn't happen. Bush never said that he hated Muslims.

I did not compare Obama to Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito. Please read #132 again.

D-Day proved that the way to peace is not always "tolerance" but force. The people who were involved with D-Day, on one side or the other, clearly understood that.
