Spoken like a true conservative.

so is there anything productive along with your Freedom of Speech that you can contribute to fixing our dire issues?

I'm afraid I can't help you there. I'm not the President, so I really have no say as to what Obama will or won't do.

Sorry, I can't help you there. I'm not the President, so I really have no say as to what Obama will or won't do.

JFK once said..... "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."

interesting... coming from you :hmm:

I could say the same thing about you since you never hesitate to offer unsolicited advice to others. (For example, dictating when I should leave a thread.)

I have nothing more to say since this is :topic:

Have a good night Jiro.

mind you - dictation and advice are not the same thing. it was a friendly advice for you since your post was very erratic and illogical as this is not a first time it has happened. Just simply refer to your ban history and you'll see why I offered you a friendly advice. it's up to you to accept it or not. :)

have a good evening

I don't need your advice. :ty:

Ronald Reagan is my favorite President. Having said that, I don't agree with everything he did. Reagan made plenty of mistakes during his Presidency, but he always acknowledged them which is more than I can say for George W. Bush.

Like wise, Bill Clinton has outraged me at times but I like him a lot.

Thanks for posting the transcript Reba.

I'll have to read it when I get home from work.

It is so important to read and know all he said. I had only heard snippets and condensed versions. From the MSM and left mostly kudos and from all others OMG! and that was the nicest thing they could say.
You are welcome. :)

Obama is not afraid to speak the truth. Is it crime to tell the truth? To me, he speaks honestly.

I can see that Obama do everything possible to keep his country safe.

Obama visited soldiers in Germany, Iraq and other countries. Soldiers respect Obama more and more than they was in Bush Admin. time.
The truth? That's your opinion.

Soldiers always respect the position of President, no matter who is serving.

Can you explain why nobody threw shoes at him?

Why? BECAUSE Obama knows how to respect and honor others..
What a ridiculous conclusion. During Bush's eight years in office, one person threw shoes at him during that whole time. Obama's been in office less than four months. People do protest against Obama, too. Just because they don't throw their shoes proves nothing.

To be respectful of another's culture & religion working pretty good than the hateful and rhetoric of the Bush admin.
When did Bush ever say that he hated another culture and religion? Proof please.

I´m sure that you know that respect and tolerance are the paths to peace.
:hmm: I wonder what would have happened if America had respected and tolerated Hitler, Mussolini, and the Emperor of Japan during WWII? Would that have been the path to peace?

***BTW, today is D-Day.***

They both visit enemy countries to make their speech. It shows itself that they want peace with enemy countries.
Obama made his speech in Cairo, Egypt. Since when is Egypt an enemy country? America is not at war with Egypt.

A lot of muslim people show their respect on Obama´s speech. (Like what I said in my previous post that they did not threw shoes at him).
Guess what? No one threw shoes at Bush for more than seven years into his presidency. Obama hasn't even been President for seven months. So what? That proves nothing.

I would say that Bush is the worst than Iranian President. Sorry, but ít´s truth.
No, that is not even close to "truth." That's just your personal opinion. "I would say" means that's your opinion.

Please get your facts right. The USA attacked a country that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, that´s why the USA have poor reputation in the Muslim world.
Are you saying that prior to America attacking Iraq, we had a good reputation in the Muslim world? It that is so, why did Muslim terrorists attack the US on 9/11?

I find it funny how conservatives always say both parties are at fault when they are to blame for something, but when a liberal is to blame, it's entirely their fault. :hmm:
Nope. It wasn't the American conservatives or liberals--it was Jihadist terrorists, and we need to keep focused on the true enemy.

We will never be able to defeat Jihadists. That's the plain and simple truth which George W. Bush refused to accept.

No we didn't. If we defeated them, why are we still in Iraq?

did you forget Afghanistan and our homeland country? no terrorist attacks for 7 years and counting......
