I'm thinking to buy upgrade video card with 256mb

My current video card are AGP, x4 and SDRAM

Is it okay If I buy a new one with AGP, x8 and DDR?
I don't know if I buy x8 and DDR.

Please advice before I buy a right one.

Thanks

SDRAM and DDR are different if you buy DDR and might not match in your computer... I dont know if I am wrong  I bought new video card DVI and VGA 128 MB and my computer is DDR and video card is DDR and they are match and my computer are fine and faster.

I'm not sure about whether your video card would be fine. You're better off asking someone at a computer store. :dunno:

Some computer store will tell you which video card and they will install it for free.

Im planning to upgrade my computer with new video card, more memory, etc. It is slow in some websites on the internet and softwares. Goddamn it has high processor speed of 2.2 ghz and is slow. Must be the memory that it is lacking power.

Get ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. It's on DOOM 3's videocard list. It's anyone's favorite videocard.
