I'm feeling down, because my good friend, Lauren's father died yesterday. They found him in the bed, just like that. He died there. I don't know why. He's maybe in his 60's or 70's. I am very shocked about that. I knew her father. I knew her since I was a kid, maybe 4 years old... I'm very surprised when my close friend, Chantel told me about that. I was like what?! Impossible! He's very healthy man, being there for Lauren because she have A LOT of problems in her body and have two twin daughters(adopted) is only maybe 18 years old and Lauren is only maybe 25 years old. They are so young to have a father who died already. I am really feeling bad for Lauren because they are VERY close. I hope everything will be alright for her and her family. Please pray for her and her family.

wow its must be hard on their family. Sorry to hear. I'm sure father is always w/ her everywhere, Sweetheart. by the way "Chantel" is my daughter name too :)

I will be ok soon for sure, but want to talk to her so badly since she and I don't talk that much, she and I saw each other last time was in October 2005
 
Ohh I'm sorry about your friend's father. Did you know he had cancer before? or he just died suddenly?

That's ok, but thanks... I didn't know that he had cancer before, but maybe Lauren and her family do. But he just died yesterday. :dunno:

Just before going through bankruptcy in 2001, my brother called me on the phone and asked me if I knew a Tim (last name) from elementary school and that he is trying to get in touch with me. I gave my brother permission to give him my number, he called me right away and we talked for hours. We haven't seen each other since seventh grade, which was in 1977. I've seen pictures and vice versa, but we haven't met again yet. He refuses to come to Minnesota because of the cold, he has a successful business and I'm not ready to move to the heat in Texas, so, I am looking forward to seeing him again.

Now, Sweetheart, I said all that to say this: Time flies by fast and, before we all know it, we're all sick or dying or know someone in their family or ours that is and then it's too late. I am going to be making plans to visit my friend in Austin, Texas, hopefully before the end of the year. Contact your friend, Sweetie, before everything gets sidetracked and more time flies by.

I know, she and I finally talked. That's how I found that her dad died because of cancer. She will talk to me later when she can. But thanks :hug:
