US Military Must Accept Illegal Aliens!

America got lot of sepoys in fillpeans do they not have rights to America and everything that go with being citizen

Most of the Filipino sailors eventually became citizens. They followed the legal process for coming to America.

The Philippines are an independent country that Allies liberated from the Japanese during WWII. As a result, Filipinos were grateful to America, and America was grateful for being allowed to maintain military bases there for many years.

We no longer have the bases there but there are still many Filipinos living in the United States.

Sadly, for the Philippines, Islamic terrorist gangs are widespread there now. :(

This is insanity. None of them would even be able to get a low-level clearance. What do they plan to do? Make them all cooks? That's about the only specialty that doesn't require some kind of security clearance.

As far as I know, there doesn't seem to be too many college educated illegal aliens crossing the border. My guess is: They won't be flying fighter jets.

I curious. How much clearance does regular infantry have these days?

They don't need to have college degrees to enlist. Only officers need degrees.

It varies. It depends on the assignment. At the very least they would need Confidential. Troop movements and strengths can be classified.

According to this, the kinds of assignments they would be given should require security clearances:

"The Department of Defense is letting undocumented immigrants apply for military service under the Military Accessions Vital to National Interest (MAVNI) program, which recruits skilled foreigners, if they qualify as so-called "Dreamers": young people who entered the US illegally as children who have lived in the country for most of their lives, graduated from high school or earned a GED, and kept a clean legal record."

"The Dreamers will only make the cut, however, if they successfully fill out a 127-page form that asks whether they have been terrorists, hold advanced degrees, and can speak Cebuano, Igbo, Yoruba, and a host of other rare languages…."

Over dramatic, the military(any military) has to deal with infiltration, it's what they do. The situation doesn't change whether we have these laws.

I don't think you understand the purpose of the military. It's not to "handle difficult people" or provide jobs to illegal aliens. :roll:
 
I am a little confused. The US military accepts non-US citizens to enroll? Hell, no... we are not paying for them since they may be terrorists. Dumb move! Did Congress vote for it?

Accepting non-citizens who are legal immigrants is fine. My objection is to accepting illegal aliens into the military.

Except if they are illegal aliens we can't trust them. They sneak and lie to get into America, and we don't know their backgrounds or criminal history. It's a very risky situation.

Not handle difficult people? Really? Who exactly do they leave that up to?

The difference between some kid who has a work visa from India and a kid from Honduras is paperwork. There are plenty non-Americans here working for the military.

Send them back to their own countries b/c they could bring diseases to our country .

What? Like that didn't happen to the Native Americans when European people got here?

You want to spend money sending them back, fine. The problem is sending them back doesn't mean they won't come back again. How do you solve that problem? You want to just keep spending money and have the country become a travel agency? It's not solving anything.

At least the President has the guts to attempt a real solution.
