Updates on Sidekick II

my mention, i think depends where the SK manfactarted at or when? or whatever. i guess. i don't mind to be patience.
 
Im getting my sidekick 2 around wednesday.. do you think ill still be able to get an update?

never know but if not, they will send it over the air update, so not certain when one of us get it. I haven't get my update yet, so hopefully soon!
 
I did got that this morning- must admit that it is better than old version.. will type more- gotta run to class...

Yay yay I got the new updates on my sk2 and my last name begins with S :D

BTW, does it tell you on ur SK2 that you recieved an update? Or do you guys just know?
 
Hi people. I am just done with class..

This morning I got update dialog, so I just updated, somehow SK2 get weird, and I had to check around, and got emails saying that I got updates, and oh yeah it is better than old version. I like internet with Java and photo gallery, rotate the pics that you took other way, also emtionicons on text messages- even quck message for text message as well.... I love it!

Incase you are wondering, my last name starts with "H".
 
:rofl: i believe nothing with first letter of last name i just kidding, glad some of u got updated, yeah it just informed me on my sk2 to accept upgrade and install pls not power off i clicked OK that what i remember ;)
 
Cool features by the new updates

My sk2 got updated 2 days after I was told about it by a local friend. I had to shut down then restarted .. then alittle while it came out to start updating .. had 2 updates. Unlike the past updates, this is really cool .. see it for yourself.

Remmy to try restart and see if the update menu pops up .. make sure don't do anything when it starts updating but once after it finish restarting after the update. If nothing pops yet, you may have to wait on later for these updates depending the area, I think.

It added AIM buddyname in the Address Book so you can add up your friends or anyone's buddyname into the list .. also it shows you in the AIM buddylist these 'away' messages in light text like bit cloaking next to the user, ha cool. Also it adds the buddy icon of each buddy on the side. That one I need to add onto mine.

Also few other features added along with others that you won't see.
 
Oh, I forgot to tell you, I got updated after powercycled of 9th times, it's good OTA 2.3 :) it's was received on 11/6/05
 
I finally got my damn update! Whew!

Boy, this update rocks! Heh!
 
I got my SK updated yesterday...pretty cool though! My bf got his SK updated last week.
