OMG, Nancy!! I remember the make-up homework when sick kids stayed home, I loved that the most when I was sick at home. I was at home sick with the bad case of chicken pox and sure enough, I had homework!! It was only to bring back school 5 artworks which I took pleasure in drawing. (Between you and me, I think my mom did that on purpose to prevent me from scratching my itches)
 
Never forget that when I was 16 yrs old and got chicken pox.... oh geee.. I stayed home for 2 weeks.. Damn hell homework pile up high... *groan*

Ain't happy w/chicken pox..

Did your first child had the chicken pox and gave it to your second one?

It happen to my two boys, my first one came home with a chicken pox then he gave it to my second one, my third one wasn't born yet, he hasn't had his chicken pox yet...

Yes first child got chicken pox and gave to my daughter..
Worth best because over with it than wait late age..
But honestly.. painful lot w/my two siblings.. LOL My daughter kept complain and whines... *scratches on her forehead* oh aww too late.. she has two chicken pox scar on her forehead.. *never forget to see her forehead and kept me remind about when she was young*
My fingers counting.. oh gee.. My older son when he was 4 yrs old and got chicken pox and gave my daughter when she was 2.5 yrs old. Terrible mistake...
My last son.. 2 yrs old got chicken pox from my friend has chicken pox.. *bring over my place stay for overnight same room* few days later, He got chicken pox... Glad it's over.. Long years ago.. I never forget that..

aww rebelgirl.. sorry to hear u are under the weather.. i was sick with sinus infection few weeks ago.. i got better.. then last few days i got bad headaches.. i dunno why.. and this morning i got up .. all of a sudden i got dizzy and my body was so sore, weak and fatigue.. i was like what the heck wrong with me? think maybe flu? but im not coughing?????? weird?? i dunno what to make out of this? sighs.. (i have cat scratches all over my hands, arms and some on my face and my cute little nose) (i got sick from cat scratches disease twice earlier this year from my cats so maybe thats what i have??? i dunno :( ) if im still like this will have to go to clinic tmw to get checked out to make sure im ok.. thats why i was not online all day.. i was in bed resting.. and drinking fluids.. :( i came online to check if my son get letter from me with his father.. and make sure TJ is ok too.. I cant help worrying about my son.. :)

Cookie Monster, I get those stars when I cough.. makes me dizzy for a few second.. don't you get that? I think mentally, I'm getting better but physically no.. damn.. hurry up!!! I really hate this.. Poor Angela! :|
 
Wow, I had my first chicken pox when I was 21.. boy.. that was hell!!! I had a really high fever of 103 to 104.. I was trembling my ass off.. but I didn't have a lot of chicken pox on me.. mostly was on my back and stomach.. few on my arms.. maybe 2 on my face.. but at 21??

My daughter hasn't had chicken pox either.. they gave her the vaccine for it.. hopefully it'll prevent her from getting it..

My second son had his chicken pox vaccine, so he wouldn't get any but when my oldest son has his chicken pox first then my second one got it from him, I did told the doctor that my second son already had the vaccine, and thought it was suppose to prevent him from getting any, but she said that it doesn't always work when they're living together being around with someone who has chicken pox everyday....so that's why he got them even through he already had the vaccine.... :(

Take plenty of vitiman C & calcium.

I took effervescent tablet for vitiman C daily to keep my body fit.

100% pure lemon is the best medicine to heal the healthy.

Add 7 tablespoon of 100% pure lemon or juice of one lemon to a cup of hot water with teaspoon of honey & get plenty of sleep & rest. Drink every 2hours till fever goes reduce.
Eat healthy foods & drink plenty of fluids including chicken soup.

Also drink camomile tea or hot lemon tea with vitiman C, too.

Yeah, my eldest son got vaccine to prevent chicken pox. Unfortunlately he got it that's time Alan was few weeks ago. I was like :confused: because I thought vaccine would protect it. It scared me because Alan was few weeks old and might get it from Danny so I check with Physican straight way. All what he asked me simple question either I fed Alan with mother milk or formula? I replied: Breastfed. He said that Breastfed helps to prevent to get virus, flu, etc from family... I need no worries about infection what family have because mother milk is protective. I was like :eek: and few years later then Alan got chicken pox.
 
yea i still have sinus infection since sept 23, i am taking a med for that.. i hate that..


i never get chicken pox in my life... if someone have chicken pox then i have to leave cuz of dont wanna catch from them...

Thank you for the advice! :hug: I've been eating fruits which I hate fruits.. I'll have to try the remedies you've adviced me to take.. I'll let ya know how I'm feeling!

Yeah its true that the vaccine doesn't always work. I would rather for Jaci to have the chicken pox now than at a late age. Having the chicken pox at a late age is dangerous. But I haven't seen anybody with a chicken pox lately.. wow..

Its a good thing your sons had them already..
 
When I was little and my older sister had chicken pox, my Mom made sure I played a lot with my older sister so I would catch chicken pox at the same time as my older sister. Sure enough, I caught chicken pox from my older sister. When a family friend's daughter got chicken pox, Mom made sure she had that little girl over for "sleepovers" with my little sister so she would make sure my youngest sister got chicken pox from her friend's daughter. Mom told us it was easier to handle 2 kids with the scratches by having them in bed at the same time.

My mom used to do that to me when I was small.. I used to play with kids who had the chicken pox but I couldn't get it.. I guess my immune was too strong at the time.. When I was 21, my far cousin had the chicken pox.. i was like.. uhhh.. well, I don't think I'll get it cuz I've done it before. Unfortunetly, I did get it.. It wasn't fun at all!
 
Extactly same thing last my son when he got chicken pox and my friend asked me borrow your little son over their place for overnight.. I said uh why.. I knew it their child little bit older and want over with it than sorry turn into teenager within next 5 years.. so I say ok.. why not.. My little son was happy and spend time with them and have play ninetdo game... for overnight.. My hubby and I were picked my little son up... Few days later, My friend's child got chicken pox.. They were happy...

I think they are crazy. ???
I knew they want chicken pox and over with it than sorry late age..
As same my children are finished chicken pox.... Glady.. :D

You want your child get chicken pox early age... DO IT... ask your friend around anyone who has chicken pox.. Let them play each together... "Easily spread germs chicken pox".

Ask for play " wanna play game called Tag n' chicken pox game" ?? LOL
