Not if you have the ability to listen and comprehend. The question was what he would advise his family. He answered as to what he would do in regard to his own family. Had he said that he would advise them to go about their daily lives with no concern or need to take precautions, he would have been criticised for not having enough concern for his own family so how can he have concern for other Americans. Some people simply use anything to promote their own anti-Democratic agenda.
I agree.
I think what Biden said makes sense anyway, even if it hurts the air travel business. I would still follow his advice anyway even though it was for his own family. I would rather NOT get sick even if the air travel business goes to shit. My health is more important than the air travel business. Being sick is most definitely no fun! And I don't want to die from the H1N1 thing! (they need to change that to another name that's easier to type - with no numerics). I know it is in regards to his family, but I would still follow his advice simply because of common sense. You can catch all kinds of shit when you're in a small confined space with no fresh air and lots of surfaces that are touched all the time with lots of people where you can come into contact with very easily - you all bump into each other. People sneeze, cough, puke, spit, piss, shit, pick their noses and wipe their noses and mouths with their bare hands and then touch things and all other things. Gross. Yuck. I have heard stories of people shitting right there in subways and buses and other metro rails and other types of public transit even in plain sight of security cameras. I even read on someone's blog about someone who lived in Europe who takes the public transit to work, and one day he found pieces of shit on the floor on the metro rail, and the next day the shit was still there and even on the third day it was still there. He called the metro rail authorities to complain everyday, but it took the authorities a whole week to get someone to come out and clean up the mess. Gross! Recently someone took a huge shit on MY PORCH! I am not kidding! I have a picture if you don't believe me (I took the picture so I can prove to management that someone shat on my porch). And yes, it was a HUMAN person not a dog nor a cat, cause the pile of shit is just too fucking big to be from a dog or a cat! People on public transit and planes also litter. They stick old gums under the seats on the buses and rails and subways and planes, they throw tissues on other seats too. Yuck! I see it all the time because I have to ride the public transit buses and I fly fairly often even though I do not like to. Why do you think there is a business in instant hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes now? I mean, I never heard of instant hand sanitizers until 10 years ago. Now I carry it in my purse, and I keep a big bottle of it in my bedroom so I can have it within reach if I touch something nasty (bugs, etc, ew). I still have the regular anti-bacterial soap in my bathroom that I use frequently too. Many clinics now make sick patients wear face masks, even if they only have a cold or a cough, which I started to notice about 5 years ago. My aunt will even clean her car steering wheel and the dashboard and any handles every time she uses the car. She takes the sanitizing wipes and wipes down her steering wheel and the dashboard and any other surface that we are likely to touch. At the movies you always find old gum under the chairs and spilled drinks and popcorn on the floor. It is gross. I highly doubt the chairs at the movie theaters are even professionally cleaned on a regular basis - no time to do so between movies. Gas stations especially in large cities have very nasty bathrooms. I have seen the grossest bathrooms. When I go to the bathroom at places like Walmart I always inspect the toilets. If I see piss or shit on the toilet I will not use it. I look for a clean stall. If there are none I do not go to the bathroom even if I have to go so bad. I ain't sitting my ass on someone else's piss or shit. Just wiping the seat is not good enough - the germs are still there unless someone takes bleach and cleans it up. Bleach kills germs. Many people even make their children wash their hands the moment they arrive home from schools because anything can happen in school. I remember when I was in middle school there were always gross old gums under our chairs and desks in the classroom - that is the major reason why gums have been banned from school for ages. It's just so gross. I think all children in elementary schools and even middle schools should be supervised in the school bathrooms to make sure they wash their hands after they use the toilets - many children do not, even though they say they do - they should hire someone to sit in the bathroom and make sure all children wash their hands and to catch anyone who tries to leave without washing their hands - children and even teenagers need to develop the regular habit of washing their hands after using the bathroom and even at regular intervals during the day even when they haven't done anything gross. I have seen so many children and even fully grown adults go to the public bathroom and then come out and go straight out the door without stopping at the sinks to wash their hands while I am standing at the sink washing my hands. Yuck! Many parents also make their children wash their hands before meals and take baths before bed. You come into contact with all kinds of surfaces that are not regularly cleaned on a regular basis such as desks and chairs and tables and walls. When I was in high school during the senior year of school my teacher would insist on opening all the classroom windows even in the middle of winter even when it is -10 outside (I grew up in Wisconsin and went to WSD). We would always complain about being cold, and she would tell us to wear warm clothes and that it is healthy to let the fresh air into the classroom regularly even when it is cold outside. And she is right. The fresh air from outside comes in and the old nasty air that had been in the classroom overnight goes out the window - she does this to circulate the clean air into the classroom and let the old dirty air outside - the fresh air from outside cleanses the classroom air. As a result, we did not get sick as much.
Last week my fiance's family asked me and my fiance to stay away from anyone who shows signs of a cold or any coughing or sneezing, and to wash our hands frequently which we already do, and if we come into contact with someone who's said that they've been sick recently or are sneezing or coughing or showing any other signs, to go to the nearest bathroom and wash our hands right away. We're going to follow their advice because we sure as hell do not want to get sick. I already carry an instant hand sanitizer in my purse, too, as an extra pre-caution.
Screw what people who have their own anti-Democratic agenda think - Biden said absolutely nothing wrong - what he had said does make a lot of sense anyway even though it was for his own family - those people are just always looking for something to use to advocate their own agenda, and that's nothing new. It's so dumb, really. Like, duh.
