No, they don't mean the same thing. Why do you think they are different words? It's because they have different meanings.
Oh well, hate means dislike very much.

I'm curious, what has our Commander in Chief said about the killing of one of his country's veterans?
I believe severe punishment warrants for screwing with any war veterans. They deserve respect in the first place. They were often disrespected by society.
Why? Simple put, these Vets fought for US government, and now how do these US government treating them? You will be surprise how poorly they treated them, why do vets needs double suffering from US government and the society?
Shame on those who screws Vets!
My name bears my grandfather's name, who himself is purple heart veteran and I would be super pissed off if anyone ever screw my grandfather and the chance of me shoot some lead into those people is high! At least he is resting in peace. If you were here, and show you purple heart, you will find my dad, myself and my son's name on it.
These vets deserves our respect, regardless of their identity.
What Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson did didn't help matters, either, being the race-baiters they are by profiting off of it.
This belongs in another thread, not this one. :topic:The truth always comes out:

I thought this thread was about the victim and the criminals, not about Sharpton and Jackson?
If u feel they did wrong, start a thread about what they did wrong.
It is about the victims, the perps and how society reacts to such a heinous crime in support of the victims. And as a result comes the obvious hypocrites in all this. It is interesting how some people are quick to dismiss the idea of a hate crime that appear to have taken place but will use "hate crime" only when it suits their agenda. And that is wrong.
Copied and pasted from the article:
Police have not said if or what the motive was for the beating. Police believe this was a random attack
1st degree Robbery in the death of Delbert Belton.
Curious..how did hate crime get into the picture? If the victim was black, would have been different?
I am seeing that people are so quick to jump and call different crimes hate crimes whenever they happen between people of different colors. Getting pretty scary.
Arrest made in Spokane beating death of WWII vet Delbert Belton - CNN.comPolice found Belton prone in the parking lot, with the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office determining he'd died Thursday of blunt facial and head injuries.
His daughter-in-law, Barbara Belton, told CNN's Alina Machado that she couldn't fathom the reason for and viciousness of the attack.
"He didn't drive a big fancy car. He didn't didn't dress in expensive clothes. He didn't have a lot of money," she said. "What did they think they were going to get from this man?"
Probably on a talk show.... where was Al Sharpton?

http://news.yahoo.com/video/police-seeking-2-black-suspects-021424620.htmlI found it interesting that the titles of the news links did not mention the race of the suspects. Only the OP did, in the title of the thread. If it had been 2 white thugs beating this veteran to death, I doubt "Two White suspects" would have appeared in the title.
Carry on.![]()
But I don't find their race to be important to the story. I am more angered by the age difference of the man killed by youths. Ageists, not racists.http://news.yahoo.com/video/police-seeking-2-black-suspects-021424620.html
They are in fact were looking for two black suspects. EVen in Yahoo news said the same thing in the title.
