Total Lunar Eclipse: Don't Miss this!

Only could see a quick little bit of it over here cos it is cloudy. Dang!

i was just finishing the dinner and we friends just stepped out and am elderly woman tapped my friends shoulder and pointed to the moon and we were shocked to see it, it was so beautiful but the rumours on another thread turned out was not am hoax after all. These days, why can't you just believe it for once. This moment was wonderful, we enjoyed the best of it. We took pictures from our phones. Excellent!

already seen many time and it's not good view in Central while Pacific current have one this morning.

I await for solar eclispe
 
amazing red colorful moon shaded by earth. wish i have digital camera to photograph. my experience to photograph the moon in previous is somewhat lousy.

I could have seen that but the sky was cloudy.. oh well.. but I do remembering seeing that one some years ago and I was amazed by the red moon look and etc... very cool one to watch and I was lucky enough to see it at a good time..maybe I will see another one later on... when the next one?
 
I saw it this morning on my way to work but I didnt get a chance to watch as I was running late, eek! Thanks for the pic Seqouias.
 
I completely missed out on the eclipse was dreaming of Tom Brady and NE Patriots going to Superbowl :giggle:

long time to see again here in North America. Unless you want to see one, need go to South America this Sept 11.

For next here in North America would be partial seen on 2012 and another one on 2014 :eek3:

the hoax on other thread is not about the moon.. its about Mars and it is a hoax yes.. cuz mars didnt get big? it is still small? i saw it this morning but not BIG as the moon? so i knew it is a hoax. Only the moon eclipse thats it.. :)

I got to see the eclipse.. it was AWESOME! i watched the whole thing from 3 30 to 6 am and went back to sleep.. im still tired! i didnt sleep much last night! ha!

i am glad some of you got to see the eclipse! :D

we will be able to view that.. but with safety eyepieces ... or other ways like box -make a hole in the box and look inside box .. it will show the shape of the sun.. or look on the ground and you will see shape of the sun too! im not kidding! :)

You're welcome, also thanks for the comments of my photography skills. :) It is pretty difficult to take pictures of the moom because of the exposure, ISO, need of ultra zoom, focus metering and all that stuff. I was struggling to make it more crisp sharp, but I don't know why I get slightly fuzzy shot. I just happen to work from 6 pm to 2:30 AM, so that's why I was real lucky not to miss that esclipe. :)
