The culture in Tokyo, Japan is very different to what I have in Australia. For the start, as you all may know the food is different here - Such as sushi, chicken, rice, raw fish etc etc. But I can assure you that the food is delightful. The city is a bit of a 'futuristic' side. Such as there is no old cars around, but rarely seen. I see some few futuristic cars around like for example, Nissan Cube, below:
I was told that the was a rule with the cars, as I noticed most of the cars are pretty new to me, my father explained why... the old cars are quite expensive to register and inspect as well so the rule is to change cars every two or three years, even though people who is rich enough to pay the expensive expense...the old cars are sent to other countries which are poor etc. We have these nissian Skyline S33 for example (In australia)
The trains are mostly full at evening/night times, and we get tight spaces, to stand on the train, the seats are mostly taken but it is the way it is, the interior of the trains are different to what we have in Sydney.
The city of Tokyo is very clean, the roads are very clean, no rubbish around, they respect the waste and trash -- to make the 'planet' greener, the air is more 'fresher' In Sydney we get plenty of smog and pollution but in here in Japan, there is not one smog nor pollution. It is more of a 'clean' air which was interesting.
On my first day of the arrival in Narita Airport, I was on the train to Tokyo -- I see all these small houses, ALL of them are crammed to each other, there is no BIG houses, they are mostly small such as if I saw a Real Estate shopfront, houses are for rent and they are in small sizes - Why? There are too many people in Japan. Over 127 billion people, I can give an accurate similarity of China here.
Some of you know the kids go to school Monday to Friday, but in japan, they go to school Monday to Saturday.
Only some times for sports day only and some people have only one day off school, like the weekend etc.
For these people who are 'salarymen' which incidates 'business' people, who wears suits and ties. They are not allowed to wear black suits --- which they are only for funerals and weddings, they are only allowed to wear suits in various colors besides black and whatnot ---like navy, grey, white and other relevant business colors
