it could be at work computer. It is black font now. Strange !!
 
I would like to bring this up again to honor my Mom. We do still miss her. Unbelievable, she gone almost 16 years ago. A day before Mother's Day. It is so hard on me to be courageous every year with my two sons especially Mother's Day.
 
Sabrina, your story brought tears to my eyes and I also felt lump in my throat. You were so fortunate to have had very good parents and that your mother shaped you to the way you are today! Your parents were good role model for you so that you now are a good mother to your boys. Thanks for sharing with us. By the way, Happy early Mother's day to you. :)

I agree with wendy. She is your mom and you have a wonderful mom who cares for you and your family. You are one lucky girl.

He always told me how sweet your Mom was, and that your dad was never the same after your mom passed away. Your story is such a beautiful story, and this is really the second time I know of that you honored your Mom. Your wedding day, was right on your Mom's birthday, no tribute and honor could be anymore beautiful than to have your wedding on your mom's birthday. Second, my husband and you had been classmates for so many years. He always said that you were a very smart girl in school, a true leader. This is all because your mom fought for your rights. You have been truly blessed with wonderful parent's. To this day, my dad often thinks of your father, and how he is doing. The picture of you mom and dad is so nice. Mom is a very beautiful woman!!!! Your life now is so enriched because of the love your mom had for you and your siblings!!! Cheers to your Mom on Mother's Day!!!! :hug:

Oh thanks for your husband Manny's compliment. It was really fun to having a classmate with him also play basketball, travel all over the New England and New York. It was a good memory with basketball and cheerleader team. :)

I hardly remember what does your Mom look like? I do remember Manny's parents very well, they always cheer RISD basketball games all the times.

My Dad just turns 75 yrs old yesterday. I just came back from Pittsburgh, PA. We will take him out to eat for his belated birthday on Sunday after work.

:hug: You're very welcome!!!! My mom had a very sweet personality, she was short, dark brown hair. She loved to bowl with the deaf leagues. My dad just had his birthday April 5th, he turned 89, but to look at him, it doesn't seem so, because he is so active. I cannot believe your dad is 75 years old!!!! He has a baby face!!!! Manny has a lot of good memories with you too, and all the fun you both had at school. Sometimes I think Manny wishes he was back at school so he could be with his friends again. I hope you had a nice trip, and glad you came home safely!!! :ily:
